Week in the Life: Thursday

Today is my last day with the "week in the life".  I've really enjoyed trying to put our days on this blog. I may do this every 3-6 months because as the girls grow - things change and I want to remember!

My alarm went off at 6 this morning and Hollis woke up around the same time.  So I got up and fed her and then took a shower and got ready.  I made Harper's lunch for MDO and packed her bag and she woke up right around that time. I quickly got her dressed and Hollis in her carseat and we were off to take Harper to school.

I dropped Harper off - she ran right in. Her teacher told me she was the sweetest girl.  She really is (when the 2 yr old tantrums aren't taking over).  Hollis and I had to run a few errands on the way home - we got gas, dropped off a package at the post office (that wouldn't fit in the box last night), picked up some medicine for Dawson, and picked up dry cleaning.  Hollis fell asleep on the way home so I brought her in and let her take a nap while I worked on laundry and picked up around the house and did just some little chores.

At 11,  I fed Hollis and got her dressed and we left and went to meet my friends Melissa and Ashley for lunch at the Mellow Mushroom. MM just opened in our town and it is SO good. I'm so happy to have it here because it's one of my favorites.

After lunch - Hollis and I ran a couple of errands and then picked Harper up from school.  I got tickled because every day when I pick her up I say "Did you have a good day?" and today she ran out to me and immediately said "I had a good day." ha! I'm so glad she did.

I can't really tell you what I did from the time we got home around 3 until just now (8:00) because both girls were SOOOOOO whiny/fussy/CRYING constantly for the last 5 hours.  Between them and the 7452 flies we have in our house along with the 563,857 flies outside  - I'm close to losing my mind today.  It just wasn't the best of days.  Both girls wanted to be held and just cried and fussed. Scott mowed the yard and worked outside after work so I got both girls fed and bathed and put to bed.  Harper and I did sit down and read a ton of books before she went to bed and she was finally in a better mood and I was glad our night ended on a good night.  I think she was just really tired.

I DID finally order and get today a double stroller. I have put it off because I couldn't decide what kind to get or if I even needed one and I finally decided I could really use a double jogging stroller so I could start walking with both girls every day and maybe knock off some of this baby weight I've carried around for the last two years.  It will also be nice when we want to take both girls somewhere like the zoo or traveling.  We tried it out and I think we are going to like it.  I have to get the straps adjusted correctly and maybe we can take a walk tomorrow!

We had leftover lasagna for dinner and I'm tired. I have a few quick things to do tonight and then I'm off to bed.  We have a fun weekend coming up so I need to rest before it gets here!  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!!!!

SUYL breakfast recipes will be up mid day tomorrow.

Week in the Life: Wednesday

My alarm went off at 6:45 today. I jumped up and got in the shower - trying to get up before Harper. I was able to shower and dry my hair and Harper was up.

So I got her up and Scott fed her breakfast (oatmeal) while I fed Hollis. Then I cleaned up the kitchen and put up a load of laundry.

I got Harper dressed and ready and then tried to finish getting myself ready and Hollis ready.  This was one of those mornings when Harper was just all over the place and into everything and I found myself losing my patience. While I was changing Hollis' diaper and getting her dressed - Harper disappeared and I found her a minute or two later - with my makeup bag and opening everything (and I use Bare Essentials so she had gotten powder all over the floor).

So I got them both to the car and luckily we had something fun to do today. Our local movie theatre shows kid movies twice a week in the mornings for $2! It's a great deal and this was our first time to try it.  This was Harper's first time to the movies.  I figured it cost $2 and was all little kids so if we only lasted 30 minutes - it wouldn't be horrible.  I got her some popcorn thinking that would help keep her occupied.  Well - she HATED the popcorn.  Ate two bites and said "I don't like it" and gave it back to me. ha! But she LOVED the movie. She did so good. She would giggle and laugh and just sat so still. It was so fun watching her! We lasted the entire movie.  And Hollis slept in her car seat.  It was her naptime anyway and the theatre is so dark - it worked perfect.  At one point Harper sat in her seat with her arm around me.  It may seem simple - but that movie was a sweet memory I'll treasure forever - just a fun time with my sweet girl.

We came home and ate lunch.  Scott played with Hollis while I got Harper squared away.  Naptime took some work today - but I managed to get them BOTH asleep around 1:45 and I sat down to try and look at insurance stuff for Harper and make a list for a few things we needed from Wal-Mart.  The naps were short lived because by 2:15 before I could barely do anything - they were both up.

So I fed Hollis and we got in the car and headed to Wal-Mart. I was going to go tonight but I decided I'd rather just take both girls and get it over with.  The girls are actually pretty good when we go.  The only downfall is it's hard to find room to put anything in the cart.  I have to be very strategic!

We came home and I unloaded groceries and started dinner.  Tonight we had Pioneer Woman's Lasagna. I've made it for a few friends when they had babies but never made it for us (which is probably SO wrong! ha!)  Luckily it was really good!

After dinner- Scott gave Harper a bath.  Hollis has been real fussy the last few days at night. She wants to be held and if I put her down she just screams and cries.  Some friends pointed out it's probably the 3 month growth spurt - I sure hope so.  She also hasn't been sleeping as well at night.  I'm going to hope it is short lived. I miss my happy, good sleeping baby!

We put Harper to bed and then I took Hollis and ran to the post office. I needed to mail a few things and it's just too hard with two kids to do it.  I wanted a snow cone but the stand was already closed for the night.  I came home and fed Hollis again while we watched the Voice Finale and put her to bed.  I'm going to finish this post and hopefully go to bed before midnight.

But it's not likely. :-)

(P.S. Hollis rolled BOTH WAYS today!!!)

Week in the Life: Tuesday

I want to say thank you for all your comments saying that your days are a lot like mine (or used to be).  I know there are so many "mom debates" out there like breastfeeding vs formula or CIO vs not or when to potty train or when to take the paci away, etc.  I'm not a fan of those debates because I'm just of the mindset of you do what is right for you and your family and don't judge other mothers when their decisions are different (unless the decisions are something like letting a toddler drink red bull and then run in the streets alone followed up by play time with scissors and broken glass - THEN maybe you judge) ha!
But there are many days that I think "am I doing this mom stuff right?"  I wonder if I'm spending my days like other moms are and how they manage.  So if you could ALL do a day in the life post and let me see what you are doing - that would be great!

Our morning started off with Hollis waking up at 5:45.  I had my alarm set for 6 so it worked out okay (except that I went to bed at midnight so I was TIRED!) I fed her and then hopped in the shower and got ready for the day.  I quickly emptied the dishwasher and put in a few dishes that were left behind and gathered up everything for the day.  Today is MDO (Mother's Day out) and it's 20 minutes away so we have to leave our house around 7:30.  Harper didn't wake up until 7:30 so I quickly got her up and dressed her and fed her a quick breakfast. I put Hollis in her carseat and we were off! Scott always likes to walk to the car with us and put Harper in the car. Then before we can leave she will say "I want to talk to Daddy" and I have to roll down the window so she can talk to him one last time. ha!

We were late getting to "school" but Harper ran right in to her class and never gave me a look.  They were doing play dough so I know she was excited.  I did get her to pose outside for a minute before we went inside.  She has started saying "Take my picture".  ha! I dropped her off and then Hollis and I ran home and I fed her quickly because we had a 9:00 appointment.  Scott and I have been trying to work on getting our future in order. We have been meeting with a financial planner to help us better plan for our retirement and we are trying to get a will done.  Not that we have a lot to leave - but we just want to make sure in case something happens - everything is set up.  You just never know.

We came home after that and Hollis took a short nap while I made a few phone calls and answered a few emails and did a little straightening around the house.  I fed her and we went to meet my friend Melissa for lunch at Panera.  It is always fun to spend time with her. She's one of the kindest people I know.

We left lunch and headed to pick up Harper.  They have a playground not far from the parking lot and they always come outside to play about 15 minutes before it's time to go.  I love to pull up and watch Harper in action when she can't see me. It's just fun to see her interact. I can't wait for her to get her hearing aids because I think she will have a better time playing with kids once she can fully hear them.

We came home (after a brief stop at Sonic happy hour) and Harper had a snack while I fed Hollis and put her in the swing for a nap.  Harper and I tried to skype my dad but he wasn't online so we ended up being silly with photos.

Harper played outside for a while and soon Hollis was up from her nap and Scott was off work. Hallelujah! Scott helped with the girls and I did a few things around the house and got dinner ready (wasn't too hard because we had leftovers).  After we ate, I gave Harper her bath.  She didn't take a nap at "school" today and she has been ONE major meltdown all afternoon so I knew she was tired. We put her to bed early around 7 and you know she is tired when we asked if she was ready for bed and she actually said "yes" and then went to sleep before we even left her room!

I then gave Hollis a bath and put her to bed a little early too. She was showing a lot of signs of being tired too.  I'm going to try and do one more load of laundry, clean off my desk and do bills and then maybe go to bed before midnight myself.  I have something fun and new planned for us tomorrow!!!!

I also have to share my newest obsession.  There is a local tea room that I LOVE and they serve the BEST fruit with this amazing poppyseed dressing.  I've gone crazy over it and I will go and buy a pint from them from time to time but that's hard to do when you have to take two kids in with you (You know what I mean?) so I found some poppyseed dressing at Wal-Mart but it wasn't sweet enough but I tried mixing a few tsps of sugar with it (I know - but hey - better than oreos) and it is JUST RIGHT! Yum - I'm enjoying this and "The Voice" right now.  Hands down my favorite show right now!

Week in the Life: Monday

My day started about 5:45 when Hollis woke up. I fed her and thought about getting up for the day then but I was so tired so I went back to sleep. Harper woke up around 7:30 and that's when I got up. I went and got her and brought her to our room. Hollis woke up and I fed her a little early. It's just easier for me to feed her then. She had wet her pajamas so I had to change her diaper and change her. Then - of course - we made the bed. ha!

We came in the kitchen and I made Harper oatmeal and she got in her highchair and watched veggie tales while she ate. She is starting to eat more at the "big" table when we eat but for some meals and snacks - I still like to use the high chair. Hollis sat in her little bouncy chair and watched. I eat the same breakfast every day - Special K cereal. After we ate - we spent some time hanging out on the couch. I checked emails and twitter and blogs and Harper watched cartoons.

I put Hollis down for a nap around 9. Harper played in her room a little while I attempted to fold laundry. But then the bug man came to spray our house for bugs. (I don't know about where you live but flies and spiders are about to put me over the edge.) While the bug man was here - I heard from two separate friends who had AMAZING news. I had prayed specific prayer requests for these two friends so hearing wonderful answers absolutely made my day, week and month! I attempted to get dressed and ready (no shower this morning - that's just the way it works a lot of days). Hollis woke up around 11 and I fed her while Harper stayed in the room with me.

I got Harper ready and we headed out for an adventure. We had a little picnic lunch at Sonic and then went to the splash park. This is the only day we had to go and it was a little cloudy but I thought we would go anyway.

We got there and Harper was the ONLY kid there. I seriously thought maybe the rapture happened and we got left behind. ha!

After we left there - we went to the best snow cone stand in town and got a snow cone. We came home and I got Harper cleaned up and pajamas on and put down for a nap around 2. I then fed Hollis and hoped to get her down for a nap but she wasn't having it. Sigh. I will be so happy for the day they can both nap at the same time. Right now - I don't get a free moment until after 8:30 at night to do anything. (It's just a phase - that's what I tell myself when I feel really overwhelmed because nothing ever gets done).  Hollis was being fussy and wanted to be held so I just sat and held her and talked on the phone to a friend and then Harper woke up at 3:30.  Both girls were crying and fussing at this point.

Hollis finally fell asleep in my arms at 4 and I put her in her crib for a nap while I chased Harper around.  Some sweet friends from church came over and brought Hollis a baby gift and a cute bag for Harper with some books they had outgrown! That was so nice.

Harper helped me cook dinner.  She has a bunch of cute aprons and it's cute to put them on her and let her help every once in a while.  Scott got finished working a little after 5 and came to help me. I'm always SOOOOO relieved at 5 when he can help me.  I fed Hollis while he played with Harper.  Harper couldn't wait for our dinner to cook - she was hungry and begging for oatmeal so I fed her early.  She had breakfast for dinner: oatmeal, yogurt and a breakfast bar (all requested by her).

Scott and I ate later - we had pork tenderloin, rissotto, and green beans.  I cleaned up the kitchen while Scott played with Harper and then he gave her a bath. While he bathed her - I tried to work on laundry but Hollis was SO fussy and wouldn't settle down.

I love Harper right after her bath when she is clean and fresh. She always loves to run in our room and get in our bed. We usually lay in there at night and laugh and tickle and cuddle for a little bit.  We put her to bed and I took Hollis on a walk to try and settle her down.

Scott thought I might want to take a picture and write this down because rarely do I ever do any form of exercise. ha! Hollis fell right asleep on our walk so I've brought her in and I'm planning to shower and clean up and sit down and try to relax a little before bed.  It's been a full day.
Good Night!

A Week in the Life - Day One

Okay - here we go. Sunday through Thursday of this week I'm going to document our days. All of it. This will be SO mundane and boring for most of you but I will enjoy looking back to see how we spent our days when my girls were 2.5 and 3 months.

Sundays are crazy days. It's always a struggle to get us all dressed and out the door early. We have to leave for church a little before 9 most Sundays. Some weeks we help with baptisms and we have to leave around 8:15. This was a 9:00 day. My alarm clock went off at 7. I had it set for 6:30 but I went to bed late and Hollis got up a couple of times and I changed it in the middle of the night. I jumped up and quickly showered and got ready. I always know I'm on borrowed time.
Most days Harper is up between 6:30 and 7 but she has been sleeping more lately and she didn't get up until 8 today! So I was able to get ready, pack their church bags and clean up the kitchen before they got up.

I also made our bed. Our house is usually pretty neat and clean but the one thing I'm completely obsessive about is making beds. I can't stand an un-made bed. I could have the stomach flu or we could be snowed in for a week - and I still have to have the beds made first thing. No matter what. I know - weird.
Harper got up and ate breakfast. She LOVES oatmeal. She wants it every morning for breakfast and would eat it for lunch and dinner too. She was hungry this morning and ate a bowl of oatmeal and a thing of yogurt. She has always loved Mickey Mouse and Elmo but now we have moved on to Barney and Veggie Tales. This morning we watched Veggie Tales while she ate her breakfast.
While she ate - I fed Hollis and then got her dressed.
Then I dressed Harper and asked her if I could take her picture with her "sissy". (That's what she calls Hollis 99% of the time). She actually agreed. I just love these sweet girls! We got everyone in the car and headed to church. Harper went to the nursery - which she LOVES. I kept Hollis with us. She has gone a couple of times but she is still SO good and easy that I just prefer to keep her with me for now.

Church was so good. The music was great and we had a good sermon. Laurie and I helped in the nursery during
Sunday School. It was easy because there were only 4 babies and another lady was with us so we had a great morning. Hollis stayed with me and she did great. I even tried her in the exersauser for a few minutes and she seemed to like it. I guess I need to get ours down from the attic soon!
We used to love going out to eat every Sunday for lunch. That's my favorite thing and we will get back to it one day but for now - we either eat at home or pick up something to take home and eat. It's just easier that way. Harper is usually tired and we don't want to push her by going out. We picked up Braum's today and came home and eat lunch. As soon as we were done - we put Harper down for her nap and Hollis began her nap during lunch (I fed her while we were at church). I ran the dishwasher, started a load of laundry, made a grocery list/meal plan for the week, and uploaded pictures on the computer.

Then Hollis and I ran to Wal-Mart to get groceries. We were out of everything and I didn't want to wait until tonight. Scott was watching "Locked up abroad" episodes and stayed home with Harper. Of course we had to stop at happy hour at Sonic first because a vanilla diet coke makes grocery shopping better!

I came home and unloaded and put up the groceries and the MINUTE I was finished Harper woke up from her nap. She had some snuggle time with daddy while I fed Hollis.
I would say just as I expected that the most challenging thing with two has been trying to nurse Hollis and keep Harper controlled at the same time. It's hard! Thankfully Hollis is on a good schedule and I only have to manage this a few times a day - the other times Harper is asleep or Scott can help.
I laid Hollis down on a blanket so she could stretch out and roll around and I folded laundry and started dinner.  Scott and Harper watched some more Veggie Tales.
Dinner was steak fajitas.  After dinner, I fed Hollis and then gave Harper a bath.  We take turns giving Harper her baths.  After her bath - she played in her room a little bit.  Then it was time for bed.  Harper goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 every night.  Once she is in bed, I give Hollis a bath and put her down between 8 and 8:30.
Tonight after the girls are in bed - I plan to finish some more laundry (does it ever end?),  answer emails (I'm sorry that I'm so slow to answer if you have ever emailed me), and maybe just maybe sit down and watch a little TV.  I usually go to bed around 11. I wish I could go earlier but there are just not enough hours in the day.

Harper's Hearing Results

Last night we drove down to Little Rock and spent the night. Harper had her sedated hearing test this morning at Children's Hospital. Traveling with babies and staying in a hotel is always an adventure. I read this week somewhere that said "For moms a trip with kids isn't a vacation - it's a business trip". ha! We actually did pretty good last night. Harper slept with us and Hollis slept in a crib and we got pretty good sleep even though we were up WAY later than our normal bed time.

I was worried about two things today - Harper couldn't have anything to eat or drink until after her test and if you know her - that could be a little stressful. And I was worried about her getting an IV.
She actually did great with no food/drink but the IV was a little rough. The people at children's are all so nice and try to make things as easy as possible on the kids. We had to be there at 8:30 and then we had to wait a while for her test got going. It lasted about an hour and 15 minutes but we got to be in the room with her the whole time. It went better than expected.
This is our audiologist. Isn't she pretty? Harper just LOVED her. I told you when Harper met our friend Caroline she went nuts over her and started calling her "Ya-Ya". Well for some reason - Harper was calling "Mrs. Jan"........"Ninny". She just started saying "Ninny, come here!" I was laughing so hard at her. Jan was so sweet to her and made it such an easy day. Jan's dad was actually one of my professor's at OBU and she and her 4 sisters all went to OBU. It's a small world.

We confirmed that Harper does have moderate hearing loss. We will be getting hearing aids and starting speech therapy soon. I'm honestly not upset about it at all - we are just excited to help her hear. Harper talks SOOO much (she never stopped talking the ENTIRE 3.5 hr trip home) but a lot of it isn't clear and it looks like she is missing so much of what we are saying so I feel like with help - she is REALLY going to take off. And Harper LOVES music and singing so I'm excited to watch her once she can really hear the music.

Since Harper had such a great "nap" and was in a really good mood and because we were so hungry - we decided to chance eating out for lunch. We went to one of our favorite places, Cantina Laredo and it was so good.

I have to add that if you ever feel down or depressed or sorry for yourself - go spend an hour or two in a waiting room at a children's hospital. I left our waiting room in tears because my heart just hurt for all the parents in there who were dealing with REAL issues with their kids. Yes - facing hearing aids with a toddler and knowing she will wear those for life is not the easiest thing - but it just doesn't compare to other situations I saw. I am just praying God gives EXTRA blessings to parents of truly sick/special needs kids. I sort of feel like He does.

Show Us your Life - Show us Your SINGLES!!!!

YEAY - it's my favorite day!!!!

If you are new here - we have done this twice before with GREAT results!! SEVEN couples (yes 7! I just heard from a new one today!) have started dating seriously and one of those couples are already married and one is getting married in a couple of months! (and I hope to do a post soon sharing some of their stories!!!)

SO - we will keep doing this! I have a heart for singles. I was 30 when I got married and I waited a long time for the right one. There is NOTHING wrong with you if you aren't married.........but if you have a desire to be married and are waiting for God's best - I am praying for you and if I can do something to help - then I'm all about it!

So here is how it works:

Write a post about someone close to you who is single - sister, brother, friend (probably should get their permission first). Post lots of pictures and tell us as much as you can about them. Or post about yourself or find someone who will. Then link up here.

Next - if you are single - whether someone posted about you or not - go through the links and look around. If you see someone interesting - leave a comment with your name, email and maybe a link to your blog or facebook. And then hopefully there will be some connections. If you don't connect with anyone - please don't get discouraged. If you post and get no comments - it's NOT YOU!!! It's just not God's will for you to meet on this silly blog!

And finally - if you DO make a connection and it works out - you have to email me and let me know your story. And if you get married and want to use Harper and Hollis as your flower girls - you totally can. You just have to buy them monogrammed dresses to wear. (Totally kidding).

OH - and if you aren't single and don't know anyone who is single.......can you just do this for me? Please pray for those who will be linking up or looking through the links. Pray for God's will for each of them. I would LOVE it if you would do that for us!!!

Okay - when you link up - please put their first name, age, and state where they live!

It was the Best of Times, It was the Worst of Times

Oh Toddlerhood

Some days - you are killing me.

This little girl is the most precious thing and SO funny and so loving and sweet. But she is also SO head strong and some days - I feel like I've been run over by a truck at the end of the day after dealing with her. Some days I just feel exhausted. And like I'm living ground hog day. I'm not complaining - I'm SOOO thankful to be here. But that doesn't make it NOT hard.

My friend Kandi tweeted an article last week that REALLY challenged and encouraged me. It met a lot of what I've been struggling with for the last year or two. I'm going to put it below because I think a lot of you need to read this:

MOTHERHOOD AS A MISSION FIELD
by: Rachel Jankovic

As someone once said, “Everyone wants to save the world, but no one wants to help Mom with the dishes.” When you are a mother at home with your children, the church is not clamoring for monthly ministry updates. When you talk to other believers, there is not any kind of awe about what you are sacrificing for the gospel. People are not pressing you for needs you might have, how they can pray for you. It does not feel intriguing, or glamorous. Your work is normal, because it is as close to home as you can possibly be. You have actually gone so far as to become home.
I

It's AWESOME!

Singles Friday

Harper and I just wanted to remind you that Show us your singles Friday is THIS FRIDAY!!! I want to give you time to think of any "Single" you may know - friend or family that you can write about on Friday or if you are single yourself - you will want to look through all the posts this weekend or write about yourself or talk a friend into writing about you! I know so many of you have linked up before and maybe nothing happened and you feel discouraged. I can't say this is going to work for everyone..........God's plan may be something totally different for you.
But I do know there are SIX success stories - one wedding down and I'm pretty sure there are five to go!!! How about that E- Harmony?? ha!

I'm just excited to have a vehicle to use to hopefully help people meet someone!!! God really does work in mysterious ways and uses VERY ordinary people to do His work!!!

and if you have met someone and haven't told me - PLEASE let me know!! I love knowing that this blog is being used for something good besides making the grandparents happy! :-)

I'm already praying for the men my sweet girls will one day marry. They may marry early or late but I'm praying that God provides them a Godly spouse who will adore them. I'm praying the same for each of you!!! (I'm also praying that God will provide the money for us to pay for their weddings. ha!)

P.S. also - at the top of my blog you will see "SUYL topics" - that has all the old posts with all the links so you can go in and easily find different things like "Living Rooms" or "kid's parties" or "Appetizer recipes". I hope that helps. I'm going to keep it updated!

Monday Monday

When I worked, Mondays were always my most busy and stressful day of the week.  I worked in the retail industry so Mondays were spent tracking the previous week's sales trends and running a ton of reports and spending time on conference calls and in meetings.  I always dreaded Mondays.  These days - Mondays are the relaxed day of the week.  In the winter - we usually spend this day in our pajamas and catch up on laundry.  Now that it's summer - I like to try and do something fun on Mondays.

Harper wakes up a lot of mornings saying she wants to "eat ice cream and play" - that's code for "go to Chick-fil-a".  So I decided today would be a good day for that.  We had to make a quick visit to the doctor this morning.  Hollis has had a little cold and I just never know with babies when to go to the doctor and when not to? So I thought I better have her checked out (she's fine).  It was fun at least to get both girls weighed and see how they are doing.  Then we went to have lunch and Harper spent a lot of time playing on the play ground.

It's always an interesting time to see her play with strange kids and interact and I always kind of like being able to  interact with strange moms. ha!

I have heard my friends Jennifer and Kacy both talking about taking their kids to the library.  I've always been a little afraid - not knowing how Harper might act but I decided we might try it today.  Harper has just about given up the nap. (NO! Say it is just a phase!)  I let her stay in her bed for an hour and it wasn't happening so we got ready and headed to our local library.  Harper was WAY more interested in this fish tank than in the books.

She finally got an interest in books - but only in pulling them off the shelves - not actually reading them. Oh well - we will keep trying.  The library has always been one of my very favorite places so I'm hoping it will eventually be something the girls love doing.

They have this big dinosaur in the main part of the library and Harper LOST HER MIND when she saw it - she was shrieking and jumping around and saying "Oh my gosh!".  ha! I got really tickled. I'm afraid she would die if I took her to the Smithsonian. ha!

I've seen on a few blogs where they did "A Day in the Life" where they documented their entire day or week in detail on their blog.  I'm thinking of doing that in a couple of weeks.  I know it will be EXTREMELY boring for most of you (unless you are nosy like me and I actually like knowing what other people do with their days).......but I thought it would make a nice memory for me to remember these baby days 10 years down the road.  I've lost so many brain cells - I can barely remember what I did last week - so it will be fun to look back and say "So that's how we spent our days?".  So I'm just giving you fair warning. :-)
