Sunday NIght

Here are a few more pics of our girl and we wanted to give another quick update
We don't know who she looks like - we think maybe Scott with my coloring!

We got a good update today. Luckily I didn't know this until later today - but our nurse told my parents that she went home last night worried Harper wouldn't make it through the night. She's given us very grim updates but today she actually smiled (she's a really nice nurse - just serious) and said she was doing much better. Her heart rate has gone down and her blood pressure has gone up - two HUGE praises! They are worried about her heart but they can't look at it until she is off the lung machines. So we are praying her heart is fine. I woke up this morning just feeling sick and Scott and I cried and pleaded with God to save our baby and tonight we are leaving the hospital feeling so hopeful. We feel SO covered in prayer. Our pastor called us several times today and prayed with us and we know our church has been praying for us as well as all of you!
We had a lot of visitors today again. One of them was this sweet 14 year old girl MacKenzie and her mom. MacKenzie reads my blog and wanted to come and give Harper this precious pearl bracelet. What a sweet blessing!
Laurie and Steve came today and brought us so many blessings from our Sunday School class. It meant so much to have them here. My brother and sister-in-law just got here from Dallas and we were so happy to see them.

Thank you again for your prayers - they are working!!!!!!! We have no doubt that Harper is a direct result of God hearing prayers! I am very limited to computer use so I am sorry again for not responding to so many of you - just know you have blessed us incredibly!

Hi Kelly! It was such an honor to meet you today. Your story is spreading like wildfire through our church and we are all praying for your precious little blessing. I've added the "Praying for Harper" button to my blog also! We'll check with you again in a few days to see if there is anything else you need. Don't hesitate to call if something comes up before then. Your MIL has the phone numbers.

Father God,
We come to you in the Holy name of your son, Jesus Christ, and lift up Baby Harper tonight. We pray that your hand be over this baby and her family, as well as the medical team assisting them. Please give them wisdom in how to proceed with the medical care of this precious little one, and keep your everlasting loving arms wrapped around this family. Allow your light to shine through and touch every person that is involved with Baby Harper and her family. Remind them that you are sovereign and in control of all things. Eventhough we don't understand why things happen the way you do, we recognize that you know the beginning to the end, and your ways are above our ways. Please give these parents the peace that passes all human understanding, and allow them to trust their little one to you. WE pray for a complete recovery of health and growth for this child, and for your will to be done in her precious life.

In Jesus name we pray,
Amen

Dear Kelly and Scott,

I live in Tyler, Texas and I read my daughter's blog, Allison Mullins from San Antonio, TX. I read the news of your dear Harper and I just want to say that I immediately prayed for your precious baby. I have a precious granddaughter named Harper and it just really struck a cord in me to write and to tell you to remain steadfast in His love, His grace and His Mercy. Have the faith of a mustard seed and it will see you through. My heart is aching for you and I will continually offer prayers of healing and comfort for Harper and for you and Scott. My thoughts will not be far from you tonight. Sleep well, get rest and keep the faith. God is good and is forever abiding.

Love to you all,

I continue to pray for Harper and all of you every chance I get. Its so hard to see you have a wonderful 40 weeks and then without warning be hit with this. She is sooooo wonderful, I hope you can hold her soon and love on her in your arms. Even though I don't know you, I think of your sweet girl often, no mother likes to see another mother go through this worry. Harper is so blessed for all the prayer she is receiving. I love to see your family stand beside you and hold you up when you need it.

Blessings,
Patricia

It was so nice meeting you, Scott, and all the grandparents this morning. It was fun to find out that we know some of the same people. We are fervently praying for Baby Harper and your entire family. She is such a precious little girl and I'm sure God has incredible things in store for your little one. And what a testimony she will have to tell about the amazing grace and healing God bestowed upon her.

Kelly, I've been following your blog since the beginning of your pregnancy. I feel blessed to be a part of your journey and to be a witness to your amazing faith in the Lord. Harper is absolutely beautiful, just like her mom. You and your family will continue to be in my thoughts, and I pray that the good updates will keep on coming!

I have sent several prayers- each time I do, they do not seem to show up on the comment form. But know that we are praying regardless. Just wanted to encourage you and pray that the Lord would strengthen you both during this extremely difficult time.
Kelly, I am praying that you would get the time alone with Him and with your husband that you need right now as well as the rest you so desperately need after just giving birth. From one mommy to another- I am praying for you and your precious family with all of my heart.

May God be glorified and highly lifted up through the birth and healing of your sweet baby Harper Brown.

Love and Light,

Sebi

Kelly,
I have been following your blog for some time now and have never written before, but I just want you to know that I have been praying for sweet little Harper, as well as for you, Scott and the rest of your family. I'm not entirely sure how I "stumbled" across your blog to begin with, but I know it was God who led me here. It's clear that He has His healing hand on your precious daughter as I read the updates on her progress. May He continue to provide you and Scott with the strength and peace to endure this difficult time.

Kelly,
I found your blog today after almost every other one I visited had posted something about your sweet baby! I had to come over and take a look myself. She is precious and I pray that she will recover soon and you will get to snuggle her and kiss her cheeks. It is obvious that you are loved by many, and it is unbelievable the following you have! I'm so glad you have the support of family and friends at this trying time in your life! Sorry for writing so much-I know you are busy and overwhelmed, but I just felt the need to comment. Good luck and God bless!

Dear Kelly, Scott and Harper,

I didn't know when I drove past the "pink palace on the hill" (St. Francis) earlier today, that tonight I would be praying for someone there. But make that 200-300,000 + 1 who are praying for a speedy healing for your precious babe. If you need anything, you just drop a note...I'm only an hour away. You remain in my prayers.

In His trustworthy grip,

Teresa

She is absolutely beautiful!! We are expecting our first grand-baby in a few weeks (a girl). As a mother I know how hard it is to see one of your children sick and feel helpless to do anything. We have to remind ourselves that the One who gave them to us loves them even more than we do. We know He is faithful and hears us when we pray and promises to give us grace and His strength when we have none of our own. You are in my prayers.
Blessings,
Elizabeth

Dear Kelly, Scott and Harper~~
I think it is amazing that I just found you blog a few short days ago and I don't even know you but I still feel called to check in on your blog to see how Harper and you all are doing. I am praying for you all and for all the other babies there also. I am a Mom of three precious children and I can't even imagine how you are feeling now. Take care of yourselves...I know it is hard because parents tend to think about their child or children first before themselves...but Harper needs you to be strong and healthy too! Praying for you--
