Please Pray

UPDATE:
We need you to lift us up in prayer like you never have before. Harper is in VERY critical condition and they are going to fly her to AR Children's hospital. It is very, very serious and the NICU doctor did not give us a favorable report. Scott and his parents will be driving there tonight. My parents and I will be driving there in the morning as soon as I can get out of the hospital. We know that God is soveriegn. WE KNOW that God is the same right now to us as He was to us this morning when we were so excited and praising Him as we drove to the hospital. We know that He loves us and no matter what happens - we will continue to praise Him.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive if we lose her. I just want to be honest with you. I'm putting this on my blog right now because we have had over 30,000 hits today and I need 30,000 of God's people to be praying for us. Thank you in advance for getting on your knees for our precious daughter.

Harper Brown Stamps was born at 7:03 PM. She weighed 9lb and 12oz.
She is having some trouble breathing, so they have taken her to the NICU to check her heart. They have had to incubate her - they are doing tests to see what's going on.
Also, Kelly lost a lot of blood in delivery and has really low blood pressure. We would really appreciate your prayers for both mother and daughter.

Scott & Kelly Stamps

Praying for you in Texas....since you have to be away from your sweet girl tonight, I'm praying that she will be held in the strong arms and watchful eye of the one who "never slumbers and never sleeps", and that you will have that "peace that passes understanding".

Ok I am back on again. Andrew and I just read in 2 Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith, not by sight. I know that you are seeing and hearing alot of things right now but, the most important is the FAITH that you have.

I know this is long, and I know you have so many thoughts and things to do, but know that God is with you.

Here are some verses for you:

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Psalm 62:5-8

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ~Romans 8:2

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. ~1 Cor. 2:9

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. ~2 Cor. 9:8

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ~James 5:16

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. ~1 Peter 5:7

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up baby Harper to you. We know that you knit her in her mother's womb and have formed her days. We pray for her life and her health. We pray that you will guide all of the doctors and nurses and give them wisdom in their treatments for her. We pray for Kelly that you will grant her a peace beyond understanding as she suffers with this separation from her baby. We pray for traveling mercies for Scott and his family en route to be with precious baby Harper. We pray that this family can be united soon and for a healthy return home where they can joyfully get to know their new loved one. We ask all of this in your precious son Jesus' name.

Praying so hard for you and your little one. From one momma who's been there...I know how hard it is. Our little girl also had pneumonia from swallowing meconium and then developed seizures. She spent a week and a half in the NICU and they were the hardest days of my life. God is so good though and was with us every step of the way. May you feel His steadfast presence and strength at this time. Praying, praying, praying...

Lord Jesus we come to you right now with heavy hearts. Kelly and her family have ministered to so many of us throughout her pregnancy with Harper. We pray that Your will be done, Lord, but we believe in miracles and in the power of prayer. Harper's life is a miracle and I pray that her recovery will be one as well. Wrap Kelly, Scott, and their parents in Your arms now, Jesus, and give them a peace that only You can give. We praise you for this baby and we praise you for her family.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,to HIM be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Ephesians 3:20-21

Kelly, I know this is unimaginable and overwhelming. I am praying that God would wrap himself around you and Scott and his peace and power would be so evident to you. I am praying for sweet Harper. I am praying that GOD IS GLORIFIED, and that HE would be so real to you right now. Love you girl!!

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. ... Nahum 1:7

That was the promise I hung on to when we had complications with our 3rd born. We spent 3 weeks in the NICU at the Arkansas Children's Hospital. You are in good hands.
