Please Pray

UPDATE:
We need you to lift us up in prayer like you never have before. Harper is in VERY critical condition and they are going to fly her to AR Children's hospital. It is very, very serious and the NICU doctor did not give us a favorable report. Scott and his parents will be driving there tonight. My parents and I will be driving there in the morning as soon as I can get out of the hospital. We know that God is soveriegn. WE KNOW that God is the same right now to us as He was to us this morning when we were so excited and praising Him as we drove to the hospital. We know that He loves us and no matter what happens - we will continue to praise Him.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive if we lose her. I just want to be honest with you. I'm putting this on my blog right now because we have had over 30,000 hits today and I need 30,000 of God's people to be praying for us. Thank you in advance for getting on your knees for our precious daughter.

Harper Brown Stamps was born at 7:03 PM. She weighed 9lb and 12oz.
She is having some trouble breathing, so they have taken her to the NICU to check her heart. They have had to incubate her - they are doing tests to see what's going on.
Also, Kelly lost a lot of blood in delivery and has really low blood pressure. We would really appreciate your prayers for both mother and daughter.

Scott & Kelly Stamps

I feel led to post a little prayer on here:

Lord, through Kelly and Scott's faith, you gave them a miracle - a miracle child. Please continue to shine your love and tender mercy on them at this time. Help baby Harper to fight! and to overcome these obstacles. I ask you to let your holy peace descend on the Stamps and Martin families and dear close friends as they struggle through this tough time. But above all, Lord, I ask that your will be done. In Jesus' name I pray.

When I was born I was immediately care flighted to a children's hospital 8 hours away. The first words my mom said to me was, Be a fighter Abby. I called my parents as soon as I read about what's going on so they could cover you in pray.

Psalm 56:3 was the first verse I learned, which said, When I am afraid I will trust in Jesus.

I know that Harper will be a fighter and that someday she will know about her birth story and the multitude of prayers that were said for her.

Sweet Kelly and Baby Harper,

Kelly,

I've been following your blog for a while now but have never commented. My husband and I just got on our knees and lifted up your baby girl in prayer. I have a baby girl (she's 17 months old) and her birth made me realize God's amazing love toward us as HIS children. You are his child and so is Harper. He's got you both in the palm of his hand. There is no safer place either of you could be tonight. I pray that the peace of God would wash over you and calm all your fears. God has shown you what He is capable of with this child. Hold tight to the verse you have in Harper's nusery .... He IS able to do IMMEASURABLY more.

Scott, Kelly & Grandparents,
Congratulations on the birth of your precious baby girl, Harper.
Welcome Harper. So many have been praying for and anxiously awaiting your arrival. None more than your family though.
I am praying for Baby Harper and for Mommy Kelly.
You are a role model for us all Kelly. In your darkest hour you are still praising God for he is in control.
You are a blessing to us all Kelly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

How my heart aches for you right now. I have been through having a critically ill child (my 2nd), and it is hard to grasp. I am praying and can't get your sweet family off my mind. We will be praying throughout the night and anxiously await good news in the morning.
"He didn't bring us this far to leave us..." remember that song? It seems so fitting for you right now!

Thinking and wishing the best and praying for you and Harper...and your family. I will be checking back for updates.

I know how badly you wanted this baby to love and care for as I have been reading your blog for a long time.

I truly will hope and wish and pray and everything I can for you, Harper, and your family.

Kelly and Scott,
I have been following your blog for quite awhile, but I'm not sure I ever commented. I've been checking all day for updates and have been so excited for you. When I logged on just a few minutes ago, your update put me into complete shock. I have been crying ever since......

I just want you to know that I will most definitely get on my knees and pray for Harper. I'm going to believe there will be complete healing, as I do very much believe in the power of prayer.

Hugs and blessings for you both, and your families.

I found your blog through Angie Smith's blog. I read your profile. I went to OBU, too. Please know I'm praying. God is the ultimate Physician and Comforter.

You're being lifted up!
