Please Pray

UPDATE:
We need you to lift us up in prayer like you never have before. Harper is in VERY critical condition and they are going to fly her to AR Children's hospital. It is very, very serious and the NICU doctor did not give us a favorable report. Scott and his parents will be driving there tonight. My parents and I will be driving there in the morning as soon as I can get out of the hospital. We know that God is soveriegn. WE KNOW that God is the same right now to us as He was to us this morning when we were so excited and praising Him as we drove to the hospital. We know that He loves us and no matter what happens - we will continue to praise Him.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive if we lose her. I just want to be honest with you. I'm putting this on my blog right now because we have had over 30,000 hits today and I need 30,000 of God's people to be praying for us. Thank you in advance for getting on your knees for our precious daughter.

Harper Brown Stamps was born at 7:03 PM. She weighed 9lb and 12oz.
She is having some trouble breathing, so they have taken her to the NICU to check her heart. They have had to incubate her - they are doing tests to see what's going on.
Also, Kelly lost a lot of blood in delivery and has really low blood pressure. We would really appreciate your prayers for both mother and daughter.

Scott & Kelly Stamps

I've been reading your blog but never commented. I'm a twin; my brother and I were born 3 1/2 months early. I only weighed a little over two pounds at birth, but I eventually got down to 1 lb. 6 oz.. My lungs collapsed, and I was put on a jet ventilator that beat 400 times per minute. I won't go into a lot more details, unless you want to know. I do have a disability, though. Right now, that's probably not on the top of your list of things to hear right now, so I'll save it for later. :)

To make a long story short, the nurse came in and told my mom she was sorry there was nothing else they could do. I was gone. My mom wasn't as close to God then as she is now, but she prayed. She said, "God, you gave her to me, but if she's going to be a vegetable, take her on. If not let her live." Many, many others were praying too. Shortly after, the nurse came back in and said I'd done an 180-degree turnaround. I'm saying if God did a miracle for me, He can do it for you!

I've said a prayer for Harper and your family. STAY STRONG!

This is just a peak at what God has to say about healing:

* 3 John 2 Dear friend, I PRAY that you may ENJOY GOOD and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well

* Acts 28:8-9 His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after PRAYER, placed his hands on him and HEALED him. [9] When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured.

* James 5:14-15 Is any one of
you sick? He should call the elders of the church to PRAY over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. [15] And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.

* Matthew 8:16-17 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and HEALED ALL the sick. [17] This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "HE took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."

* Mark 1:40-41 A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." [41] Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I AM WILLING," he said. "Be clean!"

* Matthew 4:24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them.

* Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those WHO BELIEVE: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; [18] they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

* Acts 14:9-10 He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had FAITH TO BE HEALED [10] and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.

* Matthew 9:28-29 "...the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do YOU BELIEVE that I am able to do this?" "YES, Lord," they replied. [29] Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to YOUR FAITH will it be done to you." And they were healed!

* Acts 3:2, 6, 16 Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.... [6] Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but WHAT I HAVE I GIVE YOU. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." ...[16] BY FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this COMPLETE healing to him, as you can all see.

When God promises it then it is done.
Be blessed and prepare for a miracle. God has his hands on Harper is giving her a testimony to share from birth. She will be blessed. You and your family are in our prayers.

Kelly, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! Keep positive. Stay faithful in all of God's promises. Don't let Satan allow you to entertain thoughts of loosing her. Know without a shadow of a doubt that God is going to heal your baby girl. I'm praying incessantly. The tears are rolling but I know God is in control of this situation. Stay tough, Be FIERCE with the Lord! He says to pray for what we want and what we expect. Tell him you are EXPECTING that he heal Harper. May God give all of you peace tonight and in the coming day(s).
In his grip always,
Angie Seaman

Praying for you in Tennessee. I have never left a comment before but have followed your story. I am a neonatal nurse and I know how scary this can be for parents but I also serve a God who is beyond all knowledge of the best doctors. Know that He is the one who holds Harper in His hands tonight.....

I am one of your daily readers who rarely comments...been checking in all day and just got a chance to check again. I am stunned at the news, please know that you have another sister in Texas praying for you and your precious daughter.
Jesus be with Harper, Scott, Kelly and her family. Bathe them in your presence and healing power. Protect this precious life You have ordained for Your glory and Name. In Jesus Mighty name, Amen

Praying in Texas

Father in Heaven seated on your throne of Grace,
I lift up Kelly, Scott, and this sweet baby girl Harper. You are the Great Physician and I pray if by your grace and in your mercy, you would reach down and touch this little life with healing.
We know that all things work together for our good and your glory. I pray this for Scott and Kelly and Harper. Give Scott and his parents safe travel to the hospital to be with Harper and give Kelly physical healing so that she can travel there tomorrow. Surround Kelly with your peace that passes all understanding and bless her with sleep and rest tonight so that she will have the mental, emotional, and physical energy to face whatever she needs to face tomorrow.
Father, we will praise you in this storm, because you are who you are no matter where we may find ourselves.
Bless this family according to Your will,
Jennifer

Kelly,

I am praying so hard right now. God is in control and he is going to take care of Harper. His hands are on her right now. God performed a miracle when he created her and I believe that he'll perform another miracle when he heals her. He is in control!!

I'm praying ceasingly for you.
