Storms and Snow

Happy Monday! I hope you are off to a good start!

We had a good low key weekend due to weather.  It was nice!

Milli is off to the vet this morning for more shots! I will do a post later this week on all things puppy and potty training, etc.  I've had a lot of people ask.  She rides with me to take the kids to school and pick up every day.  I stopped for coffee one morning before going home and they gave her a little cup with a dog bone.  She loved it!

Friday morning Laurie and I went to Fayetteville to meet some friends for breakfast.  We ate at Prelude.  It is SO good.  It's behind the Walton Arts Center and a tiny place but the food is so good.

The company was even better.  This is such a great group of ladies and we had the best time visiting!

Friday afternoon was full of storms.  We started having tornado warnings around 3 and the alarms went off several times.  The kids got our closet all tornado ready but we never got in it.  But it stormed HARD! I went to the store Friday and got food for the entire weekend so we could bunker down.

Saturday was in the 60's but we woke up to frigid weather on Saturday.  I took Will Holden to a birthday party at the trampoline place.  He was SOOOO excited.  He loves friends and parties like nobody else.  It was fun to just be me and him.

He loves all his little friends SO much.  This is one of his best friends.  He just hugs him every times he sees him.  They are holding hands.  It's so precious!

It was a cowboy themed party and so cute!

While we were there - it sleeted and snowed.  Not enough to really be much but the roads were kind of nasty driving home.

My poor kids never see a real snow.  It hasn't snowed a good snow in 6 years.  So a tiny dusting is exciting! They played and played in it.

And Milli loved her first snow too! We spent the rest of the day at home and it was great.

Yesterday we went to church and then were home the rest of that day.  I'm almost caught up on laundry.  I would say I was caught up on life but truthfully I just never feel caught up and I guess I never will.  I always feel like I'm slightly drowning.  I guess that's just life!

Hope you have a great Monday!
