Art and Fiestas

We had a good weekend! We were happy to see Friday roll around!

Harper earned the prize of getting to do a mannequin challenge with her class.  They filmed it in the office and ended with Harper and her feet on the principal's desk.  It was so cute.  They showed it at the Friday assembly!

In the last few months, Harper has become really good friends with a big group of girls in her class.  I"m so thankful for this group and most of them will be at middle school together next year which makes me happy.

I was out walking Friday afternoon downtown and saw the most fun new paintings.  Bentonville is SUPER full of art.  We have art all over town but these paintings are my new favorite.

How fun is this? (These are in the foyer of pressroom if you are local).

It came a big storm Friday and rained a ton so I just knew soccer would be cancelled.  Scott and Steve decided to go to see Avengers since we wouldn't have a game.  Well - it didn't rain Saturday and they didn't cancel.

So I took the kids to see Hollis play.  It was her last regular season game - they went undefeated.  They start tournament play this week.  She is on such a great team - it's been so good for her.

It was COLD Saturday.

The sun came out later in the day and we spent most of the afternoon outside playing and then had dinner at home.

Sunday was church.  I had nursery duty and then taught Sunday School so I spent my morning with a bunch of 4 year olds.   Sunday afternoon we had a mother daughter Fiesta party for GA's.

I love that my girls get to be in GA's and learn about missions and serving.  They did a lot of service projects through out the year and really love it!

Sweet friends!

It was BEAUTIFUL Sunday night so we got out and went for a walk.  WH wanted to ride his bike which seemed like a good idea until about halfway through when he didn't want to ride anymore.  So Hollis had to pedal his tiny bike.  She was a good sport about it.  We love to get out for family walks.

The countdown is on for summer.  We have 16 more school days and they are FULL of fun things!
