Devotionals

One of the questions I get asked MOST is to recommend a good devotional.  So I thought I would share a few that I love.  Now - there are TONS so I will miss some - but these are just a few.  I mostly stick to reading the Bible in my quiet time but a devotional can be a great way to bring new scriptures to life and to put your focus on Jesus.

I have a lot of friends who have written recent devotionals so of course these are fresh on my mind and ones I know you will love.

This is a good one by one of my favorite people.  "100 days to Brave" - Whether you're making a major decision, dealing with a difficult transition, or facing a fear, 100 Days toBrave will give you courage and confidence to move forward.

"New Morning Mercies" by Paul David Tripp is one I haven't done but has come HIGHLY recommended by many people I respect.  He has other books I have loved.

"Jesus Calling" is a good classic devotional.  If you are new to your faith or if you have been a Christian for 30 years - this is a good one to start your day with.

I haven't done "Embraced" but anything by Lysa Terkeurst is usually great!

If you have older teenaged girls to college aged girls - this is a great devotional book for them.  I love Sophie Hudson and they will love having this tool!

If you have girls 8-14 - they will LOVE this one! Harper has it and she has loved reading it and there is a place to journal their thoughts.  Buy your favorite girl this and some special pens and they will get a good habit of spending time with God.

If you want to deepen your faith and know Jesus better - "My Utmost for His Highest" is what you need.  It's a classic too.

This book by Louie Giglio would be great for your kids too - devotions about God and science! I actually have this on my list to get my girls.

Awaken by Priscilla Shirer.  These ninety devotions from the heart of a mom, wife, encourager, and friend will Awaken you each day with fresh insights gleaned from the Spirit of God. Ready to help you mine the treasures of Scripture and fortify you for the day ahead.

Join Alli for The Year of Living Happy and find the roots of your happiest life yet! With 100 inspirational devotions, beautiful art, and journaling pages throughout, this gorgeous devotional offers practical ways to make your life happier day by day.

I hope one of these will be something you might use to jumpstart your relationship with Jesus! They are great tools for you!
