My blogging has been lacking lately but I'm trying to pick back up!
We have had a lot of life lately!
I got this girl registered for kindergarten!!!! I can hardly believe it! I was so sad when I registered Harper for kindergarten but we have had such a great experience and Hollis is so ready that there are no tears this time around - we are just so excited for next year!!! Maybe it's a second child thing but I feel like she's so much more prepared.
Of course until August, we still have a couple of days together each week and I'm enjoying my special time with her. It's also fun to have a friend come over and spend the day while Harper is in school. We had a friend over last week and they had so much fun - playing Barbie and American Dolls and watching Barbie movies while having a picnic lunch in the living room. And SO much giggling. I love sweet little girl friendships.
I took the picture on the right of the girls this morning before church. I was trying to get a picture of all three kids and it was impossible but my girls will gladly smile! The picture on the left was exactly three years ago. Look at my little baby Hollis. Sigh. It really does go by in a minute, doesn't it? I struggled so much when the girls were little. I was so overwhelmed. Now that Hollis is almost in full time school - I just want to go back in time and give myself a high five and say "We survived!!". If you are in the depths of baby/toddler years and feel like you will never sleep in or take a shower uninterrupted or be able to just clean the house while your kids entertain themselves - it will come! And it will be so great!
I have to remind myself these facts some days now that Will Holden is in the all over the place stage. He is into everything and crawling constantly and pulling up on everything. He turned 10 months last week. I can't believe we are so close to his first birthday!
(I heard from so many people that he looks like the baby on Fuller House so I had to check it out for myself. Cheeks and blond hair - I can see it!)
