Quiet Weekend and a Question

We have had a quiet weekend.  Yesterday we worked around the house and then I went to a wedding.  It was the first wedding I've been to in two years - I'm just kind of out of that stage of life.  It's funny because I used to cry at weddings because I wanted to be married and now I'm crying at weddings imagining Harper and Hollis getting married one day and I'm just not ready for that. ha! I think I have a while but still.......
When I got home my parents were here. They went to the Razorback basketball game and then came by for a visit. Harper gets SOOOOOO wound up when she's around her grandparents. She does every trick she can to show off. Next weekend is her birthday weekend and all 4 grandparents will be here for the first time since her first birthday. I'm afraid between them and her big birthday party and the cupcakes we are having - she might explode from excitement! ha! (Maybe she will sleep really good that night! ha!)

It is SOOOOO cold here. I think everyone in the south (and probably the north too - but that's nothing new, huh?) is getting snow in the next few days.  We had a great day at church and then came home to hibernate. I went to Wal-Mart to get food along with the rest of NWA.  It was a madhouse. Harper got this little tent for Christmas so after her nap I got it out for her to play in.  She's having a good time still in it. Dawson is in there with her right now.
These two have become big buddies. She will sit on the couch and pet him. I think he's finally accepted she's not going anywhere. But I have a feeling he will be less than thrilled when he finds out there is about to be ANOTHER kid in this house. ha!
I thought I would give you a little sneak peek at the nursery. It's coming along. We got the crib up Friday night. We don't have a mattress yet and the bedding won't be done for another few weeks. I have tubs of Harper's baby clothes waiting to be put up.
I changed up the daybed and pillows in here.  That baby picture of Harper is going in our bedroom and I have something I'm working on to go above the day bed.  I also am hoping to get a cornice board made to go above the drapes with the material from her bedding. I have a couple of other things coming for the walls but basically it will be done after that.  I just need to get a couple of things like a monitor for her room and another sound machine and then we are pretty much ready!

I DO have a question for any of you who have had two kids two and under...................did you have a double stroller and what kind? Is it worth it? Did you use it? I can't make up my mind. I'm sure it's one of those things I would use and would need in certain situations but I have NO idea what kind would be best. I don't want to spend a fortune either.  So if you can tell me what your experience was - I would LOVE that!
