Today on the SUYL home tours is probably my favorite room of the house - kitchens!!!! Isn't this where we spend most of our time (besides sleeping in our beds?) ha!

* And a quick update - the mother who delivered twins at 21 weeks and lost them and then had a heart attack passed away yesterday. Please be in prayer for her family and especially her husband. He lost his first wife 3 years ago to breast cancer and has 3 young children. I can't imagine the excruciating pain he must be enduring. I love our kitchen. It's what sold me on our house. As soon as I saw it - I knew this was the house for us. I love that it is so open and I love the cabinet colors. This is looking into the kitchen from the breakfast room.
And this is looking in from the family room.
This is our breakfast room/eating area just off the kitchen. If we ever actually sit at a table to eat - this is where we do it and of course there is Harper's chair where she eats.
I've had this little birdcage stand for ever and I love it. It's filled with family and friend pictures. Harper loves to look at those and point and name off people.
This is probably my favorite thing in the kitchen.
A look at my baker's rack and a little chalkboard I got this year. I keep favorite Bible Verses on it.
This is our family room (or now it's the play room) that's off the kitchen. This is where Harper and I spend our days. During the day it's usually filled with toys strung out everywhere and most nights after she goes to bed I try to pick it up so it looks halfway okay - at least until the next morning.
