Girls, Girls, Girls

Today was Gymboree day and Harper had a lot of fun!
She did a lot more "walking" in this class and felt a little braver. It's a really good time for her to get some energy out and explore! I love watching her. I told Scott I was afraid she was the bully of the class. For one thing she was the biggest kid (not the oldest but the biggest - ha!) and she would look at whatever toy she had and then eye a kid holding a different toy and try to grab it out of their hands. Yikes! I have to teach my girl to be sweet and SHARE! :-0
Her favorite thing was probably still the bubbles!
After class we went and got her registered for Mother's Day out next fall. She is going to go one day a week and I think it will be so good for me and her! She will get time with friends and a fun day of activities and I'll have a day to make appointments and get things done so I can enjoy our time together more! I'm nervous about it but she will be almost two and I know she will love it!

On a totally different subject, I have been getting so many e-mails lately from young girls. It always shocks me to find out college girls and younger read my blog. I can't imagine what you find interesting here but I love that you visit! My heart is so focused on many things - people who struggle with infertility and singles but a huge passion I have is for young girls. I know I'm old but I was in your shoes once and I just know the culture we live in and the choices that you are faced with. I did not always make the right choices and I would love to go back and re-do many things in my life. I just want so badly for each of you to know how your identity is in Christ and not in guys or what other girls think of you. I want you to have the confidence you will finally find in your 30's NOW! :-) Anyway - many of you have asked me if I know other high school or college girls who blog. I know the majority of blogs out there tend to be "mommy" blogs or "wife" blogs. So I thought I would put a link list up and if any of you who are college aged or younger and have a blog would like to put yours on here - maybe you could find each other! Or leave me a comment and let me know you are reading! I'd love to hear from you!
