Bob Harper help me!

This morning I gave Harper her first bath in her bath tub! You can tell by her face that she really liked it! Nothing like a nice, hot bath to make you feel good!

This was after wards when she was still relaxed!
I dressed her up for Scott when he came home from lunch - her shirt says "My daddy rocks". I realized this morning that we have an awful lot of bibs and outfits that say "my daddy loves me, my daddy rocks, daddy's princess" but there is NO mention of momma! ha! I'm the one who gets up with her every night, provides her meals, changes most of her diapers, holds her all day long - where is my shirt? ha! (I am just kidding! Please don't send me momma shirts - she knows who I am!!!)

My neighbor, Melissa, is bringing us dinner tonight. We have been so blessed by all these meals. Melissa just started a blog. You need to check her out here and say hi!
So I have lost all but 4 of my pregnancy pounds. And I'm pretty sure those 4 lbs are part of the "meal providers" if you know what I mean. But I still have about 20 pounds of clomid weight that I'd like to lose. I can't go walking with Harper consistently just yet or go to the gym so I thought I would get some workout videos and try to exercise at home some. I'm a big fan of Bob (and Jillian) so I ordered these two videos today.
Has anyone tried these? Or do you have a secret exercise trick for losing weight? I can't diet really because I need food to help me make food. And please don't suggest running - that's just never going to happen. I'm more of an exercise class girl - step class, kickboxing, zumba.
I'll let you know how it goes once I get the videos. Hopefully by the summer I'll quit wearing my maternity jeans (I don't know - they are pretty comfortable - I don't think I WANT to give them up).

I love spin class, Kelly. I go twice a week and it has helped me to lose weight, tone my abs, legs, and butt, and build endurance. It's adaptable for almost any fitness level because you can control your resistance level and speed while being motivated by the instructor to push yourself. Good instructors use a mix of great music to keep you pedaling. If you try it, make sure to get the instructor or an experienced classmate to help you adjust your bike to fit you.

BTW: I think you look great, but I understand you wanting to get fit to keep up with your little girl!

Jim and I never watched Biggest Loser, but you blogging about it last season and how much you loved it, we decided to watch it. And Oh. My. Word. We are HOOKED!!! I love it! And I can't believe last week's show was left "to be continued...". We were so mad!!! I love Bob and Jillian. I want Jillian's arms. In fact, I "up-ed" my weight in Body Pump this week because I want her arms! :) I hate running, too. Hate it. I love Body Combat, though. It's like kickboxing.

I think TAE BO is a miracle worker. I've used it to tone up, I've used it to lose the 15 pounds I gained in school, and to just give me more energy. It's a great all around workout and it's a lot of fun!

I just had a baby in January too. You are doing better than me on the weight loss. I can't seem to budge the last 10-15. But I also haven't been that active all the time. I try...and then stop and so on!

Anyhow, I was going to ask you to swing by my blog and let me know how the videos are when you get them and use them. I had thought about getting them...but just haven't yet. So please let me know how they are! And if they are worth it!

The 30 day shred worked for someone I know, you can't even tell she has had two kids now. I am a big fan of The Firm. I had great results from The Firm Sculpting Stick system, and am now trying The Firm Wave. Pilates also is great for getting rid of the belly after baby! Good Luck!

My friends and I have done the 30 day shred and I like it. I am almost ready for level 3. It is a good workout when you dont have tons of time to spend on the treadmill or weight bench.

Check to see if there's a StrollerFit in your area -- it's a workout class where your baby is welcome. We (mom and 5 month old baby) love it!

Hey Kelly-
I saw your comment on Big Mama about Caroline's dress. Old Navy online has dresses VERY similar to hers. They're only online though. Thought you might want to check them out.

And- I have a friend who has Jillian's 30-day shred video and SWEARS by it. I'm heading to Target today to try to get one myself.

I just want you to know how happy I am that little Harper is doing so well- wow, what a blessing she's been to so many people.

Kelly,

Baby Harper is getting too big, too fast. She has got to be one of the best dressed babies. Where did you get the baby legs (black and white stripes) that she is wearing in this post? LOVE THEM!!

I am not sure if anyone already mentioned it but Weight Watchers is AMAZING. You can eat whatever you want you just are counting calories in easier way. You get to eat whatever you are craving, nothing is off limit. Also if you are nursing you get to eat so much more!! I love it so much I write a blog about how it has changed my life.

30 Day Shred ROCKS! I love it. I've been doing it for over a month now and am seeing good results. My hubby even does it with me!

I realize I'm comment #212, but I have to give props to Jillian Michaels. I do really like the 30 day shred, but also I like her book Winning By Losing. I checked it out from the library last spring and it helped me lose 25 lbs. 12 weeks of detailed workouts. Love it!
