Sunday

Sweet Harper continues to improve day by day!!! She is now at 39% oxygen!!! And they are taking her Nitric oxide down as well as most of her other drugs. Hopefully by this time next week we will be looking into her eyes and holding her!!!!

Scott went home today to take some stuff and get our mail and get his work computer so he can work from here next week. We are SO thankful because his work has been SO good to him and not only have allowed him to be off as long as he needs to but gave us a generous gift. We are both blessed to work for great companies. He will be back soon. Mom and I went to Wal-Mart this morning to do some shopping. I was in such a hurry to get over here last week that I only brought about 3 outfits with me and we are in store for an ice storm so I thought I could get a few sweaters at Wal-Mart. (They have a new line called Max that is SO CUTE!!!!!)
This sweet couple, Jennifer and Justin, came to see me today and she made me the cutest diaper cake EVER! I love it so much! (They are pictured below at the top)
We didn't expect any visitors today but we still had several - we are so thankful for each of you who came to see us today!

I love this song so much. This is something I listened to over and over and over as I waited for God to give me a baby. Some of you wonder how I can have a positive attitude or joy in the midst of a trial? Listen to this song - God is each of the things listed in this song to me. He is my strong tower, my strength, my fortress, my deliver, my shelter, my very present help in time of need.

Please pray for me - I'm getting a cold and don't feel real well. I'm going to take some medicine and go to bed early. I'm very healthy and never get sick but I'm probably a little rundown from the pace we've been keeping for the last 10 days. I CAN'T be sick - or I can't visit Harper and that would be really hard! Pray I wake up feeling much better so I can whisper in her ear all day tomorrow about how pretty she is!

This morning our entire church held hands and prayed for a family who has triplets in Harper's same situation. As I prayed for that family I couldn't help but feel that we all were praying for Harper too. She was on my mind as I sang to the Lord!

Dearest Kelly,
My name is Katie, I am a mom of two crazy but beautiful children. I do not know you personally but I found your blog through Angie Smith's blog...I've been praying for you, for Harper & for the Smith family as well. Your hearts as mommies have deeply touched me and I have been soooooo blessed to check in on Harper daily. To see your faith in God even during times it would be hard to have faith. I wanted to thank you for sharing your thoughts, your heart, your world with people you don't even know. I can hardly express how much it has touched my heart & my life. I have a new appreciation for my kids and for my Heavenly Father. Bless you my dear sister!!! I am praying constantly for your family! Thank you for sharing your story & your daughter.
With all HIS amazing love,

I am so thankful that Haper is doing better- before you know it the oxygen will be off her.

Harper and I share the same birthday so so has to be a fighter.

You never think about what would happen if one of my kids were bborn sick- it thrusts you into an unknown world where answers are sometimes hard to come by- but God is holding you up and you will get through this and be a better person for it- I know I was.

With mu8ch Aloha,

Harper's coloring looks so great and she is as beautiful as ever! I hope you are feeling better this morning. That is one of my favorite songs! We sing it at church pretty often and it makes me cry almost every time. Still praying daily for you, Scott, Harper and your families. I have seen Scott's office when we were at Joshs cousin's office before! His cousin in the mayor of Bentonville, so we go downtown every once in a while to see him.

Just in case you had not heard, Tri Chi got 24 girls on Saturday! Thought you might like to know!

Hi Kelly....
Praise God for the wonderful reports I have been reading over the weekend. I didn't have time to post, just enough time to check in & scan the updates. God is Good! I am so happy Baby Harper is improving. We continue to pray for her healing, and for all babies in NICUs.

We will also be remembering you that you won't be getting sick. So, rest when you can and take care of yourself!

BTW, 'Made Me Glad' is one of my all time favorite songs. I listened to it a lot before & during my mom's illness, and even more now since she passed on. It reminds me of how HE is ALWAYS there, through the good & bad....
