O HAPPY DAY!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING FOR THE PICC LINE.........................Our prayers were answered above and beyond once again. Harper doesn't even need a PICC line!!!!! We got here this morning and the doctor had to do one test on her and then he said we could take her completely off the respirator and start feeding today!!!!! PRAISE MY JESUS!!!! The nurses were cheering - I was crying - it was just a great day! We didn't expect this for several more days!

(Get ready for a long stream of pictures from our wonderful day!)

Could I smile ANY bigger?????
They gave her a little dog that looked like Dawson and she loved it!
Daddy's little girl
They warned us she might not want to eat. Bigger babies who have been through what she has been through normally don't take to eating. NOT our girl - she's a Stamps. She gulped down her first bottle and was looking for more. So we gave her a 2nd one and that was gone in minutes!
We had a fan club! Our nurses are SO great! I'm going to miss them when we leave.
Harper just STARED at her daddy.
Daddy fed bottle #2
Somebody loves her flower head band
She's already such a happy, content baby.
I've changed a few diapers today
We've got a good eater on our hands!

We call her our "chunky monkey" and we just ADORE her!
She had her 2nd feeding at 5 and we are waiting to feed her again at 8. Tomorrow we start nursing!!!!

I prayed for this child and God has given me what I asked of Him
I Samuel 1:27

We recieved so many cards and wonderful packages and gifts today. If you have sent us something to the hospital - we are getting it! I'm working on thank yous but I want you to know we are SO appreciative of every thought and gift! The love we have been shown by the body of Christ is overwhelming!!!

P.S. I just wanted to say that I have not forgotten the prayer blog. I have been very distracted the last two weeks but I will begin updating again soon. Most likely when I get home - which we are thinking could possibly be the FIRST HALF of next week (if things continue so well!) Oh we can't wait to take Harper home!!!!!!!

She is so sweet,I bet she will be a great nurser! I've been waiting all day, I knew these would be precious shots! I can't imagine how you felt holding her and looking down at her. Well, I can imagine, but isn't it the sweetest thing on earth. I'm happy you are on a downhill slide of this trauma you guys have been through. I wish I could be there to give you my hugs and prayers in person, but for now, Happy Baby!

She's already a pro at taking pictures (smilin' at the camera?), she knows that accessories make you feel better, and she loves her some food!Oh God bless that doll baby!

I told you I would be a blubbering mess on this day and I am! All I can say is "She's holding her, she's holding her... Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus." I am overflowing with joy. These pictures are priceless and speak volumes! You can tell she is feeling so much better and that she ADORES her mommy and daddy! Her eyes simply sparkle. You and Scott look pleased as punch, as well you should. I just love her in that headband. Oh, I'm so excited!!! Sophia, my 4 y.o., is already in bed, but she is going to flip out when she sees these tomorrow! WOW - so overwhelmed for you all tonight!!! I'll be praying nursing goes really well. It could be frustrating at first, but stick with it and really commit it to prayer too! God cares for every detail, as well you know by now! Oh, just so thankful.

I checked last night and several times today, and I was SO hoping that the "delay" (I actually cannot believe you have ANY time to post :-) was because you two were holding that sweet baby! I got chills looking at those pics. We had a NICU scare with twins, and the pictures of precious Harper being held brought back memories!

What a beauty! I'm so thrilled for the whole Stamps family.

Praise the Lord for his goodness!
