We got "boo'd" again last night by accident. Somehow the ghost I had taped up outside must have blown away so last night when I went outside to take Dawson - we got another goody basket! Oops! So I immediately taped up a new ghost picture. I told Scott we could just leave it down and then we might get a surprise every night. He told me that was the best idea I had ever had. ha! (We didn't do it)
Rathi is a blogger who I have gotten to know recently and she is someone who I am praying urgently for every day that God will bless her with a baby. (I got good news from two people I've been praying for in the last two weeks! God is so good! I love to continue to hear "Guess what - I'm pregnant!" - those have become my favorite four words). Rathi sent me this sweet package today with goodies for Harper. Thanks so much Rathi!!!!

Angie has something wonderful at her blog today. Tomorrow is National Day of Remembrance for Pregnancy and Infant Loss. She asked anyone who would like to share and be prayed for to leave a comment with their story. Try reading through the comments without crying. My heart aches for everyone who has lost a baby through miscarriage or still birth or Sids as much as I ache for those who haven't been able to conceive.

This song was in the movie "Fireproof". I'm not sure but I think I wrote this about a year ago. (just kidding). But it would have been my theme song a year ago. So many of you are waiting on something ......a husband, a baby, a job, a cure to an illness......I hope this song encourages you if you haven't heard it.

Boo'd again!!! This is something that hasn't caught on in our neighborhood...maybe I should start it. (:

I've heard that song a few times and relate so well to it. Angie's post and all of the comments touched me, too. My heart just aches for these families. I've posted something similar to you on my blog to recognize this day and to ask for prayer for those who have lost their precious babies.

Thank you so much Kelly. This is exactly what I needed to hear today! I love the song and I am sure I will be listening to it over and over again. It is amazing how much reading blogs can make a difference in people's lives. You are an inspiration to me and thank you for this post today! :)

Booing is the highlight of Halloween for my girls. They scream when the door bell rings and run to let the dogs out for a game of "tag". Even though our 3 German Shepherds are nice and our booers know them well it still has to be terrifying to have them come at you full speed, especially in the dark!

After being boo'd twice in the same night I have learned to hang the sign immediately and after the "wind" removed the sign two years in a row I now tape it to the inside of the door.

Congratulations to the Mommies-To-Be!

I was on Angie's blog last night and I usually don't read her 10,000comments,but last night I just couldn't stop.My tears and prayers seemed to go on forever.
My heart goes out to those women that have suffered loss and are struggling to have a family even more so since God so easily blessed us with 4 healthy daughters.Hope your fiend has good news to share soon! :)

I just wanted to comment that my husband and I saw Fireproof this weekend. Loved it!!!!! I thought it was really awesome. What a great message. ( I cried) ( I think my husband even wiped a tear away, although he wouldn't admit that). :)

I hope they continue to make movies. They do a great job.

I loved at the very very end of the credits (we are geeks and always stay through the credits)...

at the end it said

For the glory of God alone!

Amen.

I fell in love with that song when I saw Fireproof...I went to purchase John Waller's cd the next day and everyone was sold out! I finally found a Mardel that had ONE left (I had to hunt high and low for it, it was on the bottom of a display) and bought it. The whole cd is great! I love your pregnancy updates. You are too cute with your prego belly!

Kelly, thank you for this post. That song really touched me and for letting me know about Angie's post. I just had a miscarriage this past week at 7 weeks after my husband and I have been trying for 2 years. This song and post really meant a lot to me and I just wanted to say thank you. I love reading your blog. I have been for a while and have commented a time or two before. Still keeping you and your sweet Harper in my prayers.

Hi Kelly! I found your blog a couple months ago thru a friend of a friend's blog and I finally had to comment. Your blog is so much fun to read--I now have you on my favorites and I read everyday! We are total strangers but from reading your blog we have so much in common, including Bunco! I love the decorating tips and yummy recipes and following the story of Baby Harper (my maiden name was Brown)! I hope you don't think I'm some crazy person but I just had to thank you for being so faithful to update your blog--you are touching many lives you don't even know about! May God bless you and your precious growing family!

We recently suffered a miscarriage and went to see Fireproof. That song hit me like a ton of bricks! I immediately went home and googled it...it's totally my theme song right now while we're waiting. I've been passing it on to some of my friends who are all waiting...

I love the Boo'd aspect....I'm thinking I might start it in our neighborhood (since this is our first year there - it might catch on!)

I went to Angie's blog and started crying the minute I saw over 1800 postings.......Even so God is good and He is in control!
