So close but so far away

Here we are at the game last night - I was styling and profiling in my $15 coat!
Nothing like Razorback Stadium on a Saturday night (except when you lose in the last few minutes to your former coach - UGH!)

I love our big scoreboard and when they put the hog face up there.

It was a rough night at the hog game last night. But it was such a beautiful day and even though it was kind of cold - the weather was just perfect. I did pretty good getting up the hill and back to the game. Really the only problem I had was the stress I felt at sitting in the middle of a section and knowing how often I needed to go to the bathroom. I HATE climbing over people so I managed to make it through the entire game without leaving once. It was a game day miracle!

Today we had a great church service and then we went with Laurie and Steve to Western Sizzlin to eat lunch. ha ha ha! Look at this little cutie. Scott held her and she went right to sleep. Hopefully he has the magic touch so he can help me with Harper.

We had such a good time at lunch that we just about stayed all day. I think the waitress thought we would never leave.
We just always laugh so much when we are with Laurie and Steve.

Our church is hosting the State Baptist Convention this week so it's a busy week. Our choir is singing tonight and again on Tuesday morning. We have to break out the Branson show outfits on Tuesday and I was more than a little worried that I couldn't fit into it but I think I'm going to be able to squeeze it on. I'm serving at a couple of dinners and receptions on Tuesday night so it will be a very busy day.

Did you know that October is pastor appreciation month? Because my dad is a pastor - I'm very sensitive about just how hard a job being in the ministry can be. I try to always send cards to all of our church staff in October. We are so blessed by everyone who is on staff at our church. I hope that you take time out to show appreciation to your pastor this week (if you haven't done it already).

The church we were members of in Benton is hosting the ABSC next year,so several of them are up here this week to "learn" how to host it. It works out great b/c they are all able to come by and see Brody this week! We are so excited! Enjoy being a Branson Belle this week! Haha!:)

My Dad is a pastor as well, so I'm with ya on showin' the love. My parents are actually on their way to the Convention right now. I'll tell my Mom to look for the cute, blonde, pregnant girl in the choir. :) She sings with Master Singers, not sure if they are performing at the Convention or not.

Have a great week!

That Hog picture is scary!! Does it make noise? No, I'm not retarded, but we have one and the elephant sounds off! Now, IT DOES sound scary!! Ha, ha!

I was checkin' in on ya'll during the Bama game....kept telling my man to find out what the score to the Ole Miss/Arkansas game was! I could not believe ya'll lost! I thought ya'll were going to pull it off!

I know! I'm so sad they lost in the last minute! Ugh! SK looks so beautiful in that blue outfit! I giggle when I read you went to the Sizzler. That reminded me of OBU days! You are right...pastors have a HARD job. Thanks for the reminder that it is appreciation month.

I got tickled at your "walk up the hill" report. I'm strange... but I'm curious about that goofy stuff. I thought about you on Saturday, and wondered how you handled the hill and the cold. It'll be more challenging with each game. Ha!

Have fun with your busy week.

You are just too cute!!!! Look at your dress - you just get cuter with each day of your pregnancy!

And you are so right - Pastors work extremely hard & need all the recognition they can get!

Love the polka dot dress! And, you are right..Pastors and their families work so hard. My Daddy is a pastor, so I completely understand.

I did not realize your dad is a pastor. My grandfather was a methodist minister and I am also very aware of the sacrifices a pastor and his family make. I was so blessed to have him in my life and I know that so many others were blessed by him. You must be very proud to be your father's daughter.

Such a good reminder...to remember our pastors. I know...we too often take those awesome men for granted! Your coat is CUTE! That was probably the best thing about the Razorback game.....sigh! Our poor hogs! I am laughing out load that you guys went to Western Sizzlin (did I spell that right?) Were you the youngest ones in there by 20 years?!?!?! SO FUNNY!

SO disappointed about the Hogs....but you were definitely stylin' in that coat! I cannot forget to look for that tomorrow, when I go to WM.
Hope you have a great week!

I'm new to your blog, but I wanted to stop by and say hello. I love the name you've chosen for your baby. It's unusual, pretty and not weird. All good things in my book.

By the way you are a gorgeous pregnant lady!
