My wild and crazy life

It's been a bad blogging week for me. But the thing is the last few days have been the kind of days that are VERY hard to try and make interesting on my blog. Unless you want to hear about me sitting at work all day (I did try to include a picture of me in my very messy office) (and yes I totally did that with my self timer)

and then coming home to do laundry (those pictures would be riveting) and then maybe eating a little dinner, scanning the channels for ANYTHING to watch, finding nothing so watching all the Paula Deen episodes I've DVR'd this week and dreaming of things to cook, and then going to bed at 9. Yes - all kinds of blogging material out of days like that. :-)
We do have a fun weekend planned. Scott's parents and his aunt, uncle and cousin are all coming to Branson to stay for a week starting Friday so we are going over to spend the weekend with them. They haven't had any kind of vacation in years so I'm glad they are getting away and it should be a fun time. I'm just hoping to hit the Banana Republic outlet - other than that - I'm happy with whatever we do. It should give me a few things to blog about next week!!! :-)

Love me some Branson Kelly! My husband and I met there as staff members at Kanakuk. We haven't been in awhile but I hear they have amazing shoppping centers these days--love the outlets! Enjoy! :)ooooooooooooo and if you
want an AMAZING romantic spot for dinner and wonderful picture of 'heaven' ya'll need to get away for a few hours to TOP OF THE ROCK! It's off the beaten path and simply the best....you MUST GO.
Here is the link--let me know if you get to go. I want to hear what you think :) Well, shucks...I just called and it's still closed due to a fire...but there are other restaurants out there and you can still see the BEAUTIFUL SCENERY...I'm sure you've heard of it...I'd def. go there for an anniversary trip...here's hoping...but especially if I lived so close like ya'll do. www.bigcedar.com *Too bad the rooms are so pricey :( But so worth it I'm sure! Enjoy

I love that picture of you! You have such great fashion sense. I'm so inspired to wear my dresses with little tees underneath now. Thanks!

I've been out of blog material lately too. But then the whole reason for a blog for me, was just to talk about what was going on in my life at the time. Whether it's boring to most people or not.

I'm sure you guys will have a great time.

PS Love your dress :)

Oh, how fun. George and I are going somewhere next weekend, but we don't know where yet. In fact, I just solicited some opinions on my blog. I'd love yours! Oh, and you got to talk on the phone. Wasn't that exciting? Hee hee. Just kidding. It probably wasn't that exciting ;)

I can't wait to hear about your trip this weekend! We have never been to Branson. We have GOT to go sometime. I love how you mentioned the timer on your camera because I was thinking, "Did she get someone to take her picture?" Ha! You look cute (as always).

I have to comment on the Sonic cup, too! It was the first thing I saw (and not your messy office!). My favorite is the Grape Slushes!

Yaay for a week of not much to do! Since we're renovating our new house, those days are few and far between for me. I like your self portrait of yourself at work. Do you like your job?

Ohhhhhhh Banana! I hope you find cute stuff, if so do share!!! Have a good time!!!
I'll be thinking of you while I'm at Paula Deen's. I hear her sons are there often, so I hope I get to meet one of them! :)

That's such a cute picture of you in your office--I love that you put it on timer! :)

Have fun in Branson. Are you going to "Steal Your Dollar City" as my family loves to call it?

I'm just starting to blog and already I've felt exactly how you've described.

You ought to try Twitter ... it'll really make you think about what you do with your time!! Ha!

You are hilarious. And you could not be cuter sitting there at your office with your little sonic drink. LOVE it!

And I am so feeling you on the nothing to blog about. Thankfully I have a wedding coming up--I am sure there will be tons of good material there. :) A girl can hope.

Have a good rest of the day my friend!

You look so cute sitting there in your office... hey, is that a magnifying mirror on your desk? Tweezing our eyebrows on the office clock, are we? haha! Just kidding! I went to our Banana Republic outlet this past weekend and got the sweetest white eyelet dress...I regret not buying the clear plastic beads to go with it...((sigh)) Have a wonderful & safe trip and happy shopping!

Ya know, some times the ho-hum weeks are not so bad... even if they don't make for good blogging! You in your office is cute - I noticed the sonic cup on your desk, atta girl! :-) I am a huge fan of the self-timer.... sometimes it's a lifesaver... or at least an embarassment saver when you can avoid asking a total stranger to take a totally random picture! Sometimes I think only bloggers would understand some of the strange pictures I take! lol.

Is that a Sonic cup in the background on your desk? YUM! I hope you have a great weekend in Branson! I have always wanted to go there, but have not gotten there yet. Hope you find some great finds at Banana Republic!

I hope you don't mind me "dropping by" your blog, but I stumbled upon it through Mandy's and I noticed that your friend that got married (also Mandy) is my cousin! Unfortunately, I had an appointment in Saturday and couldn't make it to AR in time to attend the wedding with my cousins (who would be Mandy's grandma and uncle). I love that Ballard Design place. I will have to check it out!

I've definitely missed you this week! Hope you have a fun weekend, though! :)

You need to come check out my kids saying the books of the OT in the videos I just posted...they are adorable! At least, I think so. ;)

As a self proclaimed TV expert, I felt I needed to make a few suggestions for you. Hannah and I found ourselves unable to keep up with the rigorous TV schedule we set for when she was here. Some suggestions:
So you think you can dance
Next Food Network Star
Design Star
Legally Blonde the Musical
Jon and Kate plus 8
Bachelorette
Nashville Star
The Mole
Celebrity Circus (not sure it's a keeper)
I feel certain I am leaving something out but you get the picture.
Have a GREAT time in Branson.

One of the very first things I noticed was the Sonic drink in the background and your radiant face!! You are beautiful!! Seriously!!!! I love the dress. You can wear anything and it looks good!

I wonder if my new camera has a timer. I'll have to research. I took so many self portraits trying to get a new blog picture!! I never thought of a timer!

Okay, now Derek is going to love you even MORE since you were a Bird fan. He LOVES Larry Bird. His favorite player of all time. He still has a Larry Bird sweatshirt I bought for him around 1989! Ha!

Somedays my post seem so boring to me... it's just life going on around us. Sometimes I enjoy just reading that other people have dirty dishes too. Im not alone, hehe... Susie H~

What? Branson has a Banana Republic OUTLET?????!!!!!????? My in-laws have a timeshare in Branson and my hubby and I have been there twice with them and I had no idea there was a BR outlet! How did I miss that? Nothing like good clothes at a good deal, right? Please tell me where the store is! Is it in with the other outlet mall stores and if so, which one? Thanks, KK!
