New Bulletin Board

So today at lunch - I got the random idea to go to Hobby Lobby and get the stuff to make a bulletin board to go in my office (at home). I got this board (half off - yeah for the Christian craft store that plays hymns over the speakers and always has something on sale). And I got some fabric (1/3 off!)

And I made this board!
And it was the perfect timing because I got home and I thought maybe it was my birthday because I had THREE of the sweetest, most encouraging cards in the mail. They meant so much to me and I'm putting these along with several other cards of encouragement that I've received recently on my board - along with invites or important things to remember.

When I was single - God put Laurie in my life so I wouldn't have to go it alone and that helped so much. That's how good our God is. Even though He knew He had a plan for me - He still wanted to give me help along the way to make it easier for me. And now that we are struggling with infertility - He has given me SO many friends that have been such a sweet comfort to me and all of you who leave me the most precious comments that you probably don't even realize mean SO much to me. And the road is made a lot easier along the way.

Now I just need to get Scott to help me hang this up!

I absolutely LOVE the bulletin board!!! Anytime I go to Hobby Lobby, I get myself in trouble! Whether you know it or not, YOU are an encouragement to ME just through your faith in God! Thank you!

How cute!! I made one for my nephew and put criss cross ribbon across the board both ways.......it's hard to explain. But then you can just slide pics, cards, whatever and no need for push pins. :o) So so cute!

And thank you for your great blogs! It is very comforting!

Thanks for sharing your find!

So cute! I have eyed that fabric before so many times. The dragon flies are very whimsical and uplifting. Your cards are cute, too! Friends who send cards are God's treasures! Did you love American Idol? David and I died laughing at Princess Lea. Ha! She was too funny!

I love your bulletin board. So creative! If I went to Hobby Lobby on my lunch break, maybe my house would be a little bit cuter. I need to take a page from your book!

And, the bulletin board is adorable. I'm gonna find me one like that too. You inspire me!

I hope ou are having a good week so far.

Why does this fabric remind me so much of Jamie? Hummm...does she have a pillow with those dragonflies on it? Anyway, great job. Those cards are all so cheery!

Still praying for you girl. And hang in there, I have 2 close friends that struggled with infertility. Today, one of them has a gorgeous 2 year old little girl, and the other has a 4 year old little boy and a 2 year old little girl.

Sweet Kelly, your board is SO cute! I need to make something like that to brighten up my drab office at work! Snail mail cards just make my day as well, and since I work at a stationery store, I'm officially obsessed with them! Praying for you :)

Kelly, your new blog look is so cute. I'm sure it has been like this for awhile, but I have been avoiding blogs since I have been off task about mine! Love the bulletin board...super cute. Maybe I should be crafty while I am still at home. I have to go back to work on the 28th...so I better get started on my crafts! I just want you to know that I am still praying for you guys...I know God has a perfect plan!

This is great. I am about to do one myself and was wondering if you glue gunned it or stapled it? God is always so good to provide just the right persons in our lives for just the right times. I am glad He has provided them for you.
Blessings,
Linda
