Friends and Floats

Hollis' best friend moved to Texas almost two years ago.  They have been friends since they were babies and they have the sweetest friendship.  Hollis is shy but she's a loyal friend.  We were surprised to have Kampbell come to town and she got to spend 24 hours with us.  It was so good for Hollis.  Can't you see in her eyes how happy she is?

Milli also loved Kampbell

I love that they can always pick right back up where they left off.  And I"m thankful they have seen each other several times over the last 2 years.

This is my favorite picture of them as toddlers in the nursery.

And Kampbell's mom is one of my best friends. I'm so thankful for her friendship even though I miss her dearly every day.

Some of our friends know about a "secret" creek that is BEAUTIFUL and we spent a day there last week.  We had the BEST day.  We packed lunch and spent several hours out there swimming and it was glorious!

The kids floated down the creek and just had the best time! We were pretty much the only ones there which was wonderful!

We are already planning our next day at the creek.

Harper started a Bible Study at church for 5th and 6th graders.  I was so happy for her to have this to go to.  She invited one of her besties to go with her.

We had a picnic lunch outside before they went in.  I think it was so good for Harper to get to see her friend.

Thankful for all of these moments that are adding up to a good summer!
