Just So Thankful

Today is our last day before we get a week off for Thanksgiving! I keep telling the kids "only 3, 2, and now 1 day until you get a whole week at home!"  We are having Thanksgiving at our house and Scott's parents are coming so we are looking forward to a fun break!

Monday Will Holden had his Thanksgiving program and lunch at school.  I got to go and then he came home with me early.

Hollis had a field trip at Crystal Bridges on Monday.  Sometimes I just have to pick when I have 3 kids who all have things going on so I had to miss.  But we took a picture together anyway.  I love this girl.  She's been glued to my side lately and I'm not sad about it.

Hollis has been taking an art class at the community center on Monday nights.  Harper joined her this past Monday.  I love it because they have childcare for Will Holden and I get to work out for an hour.

Tuesday I got to have lunch with our youth girls associate from church and Laurie.  We had a great time but I didn't take one picture.  Tuesday night we had a women's event through church where we were divided up among 7 homes and had dinner and a devotion.  It was such a fun night and once again  - I didn't take one picture.  Which maybe is a good thing!

Wednesday I spent most of the day at home working.

Our friend Sawyer is 10 and has been battling leukemia and has basically lived in the hospital for a year. It’s taken a toll on him and his family and they have been so weary. Their faith is strong but it’s been a long hard road. Tonight hundreds of us stood outside in the parking lot of @archildrens where they could see us from their window and we prayed and sang worship songs. So many of our teachers and staff from our school were there along with tons of other friends. It was a sweet time to see so many come together to pray. Harper prayed and just cried but it opened up a good time for us to talk on the way home about our faith in Jesus.

These are some of our teachers and friends from school! It's a special place!

A friend took this of me and the girls praying together.  I love sharing that with them.

I shared this fun news on my insta story but we are getting a puppy for Christmas ! The girls have named her Milli Bell and she is coming right around the New years.  We didn't want to try and travel with a new puppy so she will come when we are home for a while to train her and love her.  She's a cavapoo and we are so excited to bring her home! The girls have begged for a dog since Dawson died but it's taken me a while to be ready.  But it's time!

I'm doing a fun give away right now on my instagram - you can win all these earrings (for yourself or give them as presents!) Come and enter!
