June

It's JUNE!!!! Can you believe it?

Harper is still in school so Hollis, Will Holden and I have been filling our days with playing outside (when it's not raining) and meeting friends at the park and making sam's trips.
My parents came over last weekend and volunteered to keep all three kids so we could have a date.  I was so excited for just an hour alone with Scott, guacamole and quiet.  But I couldn't wait to get back home.

Things are still going well for us.  Will Holden has had some feeding issues that we have been working through but I think we finally have it mostly figured out.  He had a tongue tie that we got fixed yesterday.  Hollis has a tongue tie too but hers never caused any issues and we just left it (after consulting our pediatrician).  I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to fix it and he barely cried.

Honestly, so far, three kids hasn't been too hard but it has a lot to do with the ages of my other two.  They are so independent and helpful.  The biggest hurdle is just remembering how much work a newborn is.  I just don't have a minute to get much done or to rest in the day.  I'm having to go back to my night owl ways to get a few things done once the house is asleep.  But Scott has been great to help out when he gets home at night and we are just figuring it out.

My girls just adore him.  They constantly fight over holding him.  And they help me without me asking all the time.  I have been trying to give them little rewards for being so selfless with their time.  I try to take them for little treats - to play at a jump place or to get snow cones and tell them it's because I'm thankful for their help and the way they play together so sweetly.  I'm not a big fan of bribing (although I do it sometimes) but I love to recognize and reward good behavior!

Sometimes I just can't believe this is my family!!!

Will Holden is filling out and I think he looks so much like his Daddy and Harper.  He has started smiling and it's the sweetest thing but I can never seem to catch it on camera.  Hopefully I will soon!
