What's going on

Well, I have been totally MIA to blogging.  I feel like I don't have a lot to talk about.  I'm mostly just trying to make it through each day and get to bed time.   I hate to complain because I'm extremely thankful for this baby and I know how blessed I am to be pregnant but I've never been in so much pain or so uncomfortable in my life.  I can barely walk across a room without passing out.  So I've basically quit everything in my life and I'm trying to just rest.  I have about three weeks left.  It's just frustrating to me to not be able to do much when I feel like there is so much to be done.

I got desperate last week and went to the mall and bought this contraption.  Honestly I can't really tell if it helps or hurts.  I've tried to wear it some either way.

Scott and I did manage to slip away for a date night this past weekend.  I wanted to take him out for his birthday.  He has been SO great the last few weeks.  He has basically had to take on everything and I don't know how I would survive without him.  We went to a fancy restaurant in town that we used to love in our pre-kids days.  It was SOOOO good.  And then we went to Target to buy last minute things for the baby.

Today is my very best friend's birthday.  Laurie is my person.  She's the sister God let me choose.  We met my freshman year in college and have just been soul sisters ever since. No one makes me laugh like she does.  We don't go a day without talking several times a day and texting about twice as much.  We have the sweetest group of 80 and 90 year old women in our Bible Study group right now.  They always come all dressed up and with their lipstick on (I just get tickled at how cute they are) and are just a joy to be around.  And these women travel together and go to the movies and out to eat every week.  And the very best is some weeks they will say "Well I learned something new today". I told Laurie this was totally going to be us one day.

Speaking of best friends, I got an early copy of Melanie's book "No one is cuter than you" about friendship and I just LOVED it.  Probably because Melanie and Gulley are SO similar to me and Laurie.  I laughed and cried.  It comes out next week and you will want to read it.

And I'm EXTREMELY excited for Angie Smith who has her very first Bible Study coming out today!!! It's called Seamless and you can watch this video to find out more! If you are looking for a study to do with a group or even by yourself this spring/summer - this would be a great one.  You can buy individual videos inexpensively so it would be perfect for one or a small group!
