A weekend of Dates

My parents so graciously offered to keep the girls for half of their spring break.  I can't tell you how thankful I was to have a few days to work on things around my house and to have time alone with Scott.  And the girls had the time of their lives.  They told me as soon as they got home that they wanted to go back and live there.

Well, thanks.

Friday night Scott got to pick our date.  So of course it involved a big steak.

We love Doe's.  It's one of our go to date places.

These are faces Scott makes when I insist on taking his picture.  ha!

Can you see how happy I look? Scott and I don't get dates very often so it was so nice to just be alone  We missed our girls so much.  Our house was WAY too quiet without them.

We NEVER see movies anymore unless you count "Frozen" or the Lego movie.  So one of the main things I wanted to do was go to a couple of movies.  I LOVE going to movies but it's just kind of a luxury these days.  We saw "non-stop".  It was really good!

Saturday night was my pick so of course it involved guacamole.

I like what I like.

I deserve this when I keep trying to take a picture.

One of my favorite places in our town is Table Mesa on the square.  I have never had their fajitas but they were so good.  And they don't come out smoking and steaming so you don't leave smelling like fajitas which is my pet peeve.

We saw "God's not dead" and it was EXCELLENT!!!!! I can't recommend this enough! Loved it!!!

This morning we skipped church and went to Cracker Barrel instead so we could get on the road early and go pick our girls up.  I was so ready to see their faces.

It's been a wonderful and well needed spring break! Life is back to reality this week and things are about to really change around here.  I'll tell you more about that later this week!
