American Blogger - my day of filming

So, in case you haven't heard, there is a guy named Chris who is traveling the country this summer making a documentary on blogging called "American Blogger".  This is SUCH a fun idea.  He re-did an airstream trailer and is going to 50 bloggers over the next 6 or 7 weeks.  He is going all over - from California to NYC to little old Arkansas!!!

He came to my house today to film.  I am only #2 of the 50 bloggers.  This is how I was feeling before he got here........CHAWED! :-) (Thanks again to Riffraff for helping me with what to wear!!!!)

Chris couldn't have been nicer.  I was so nervous but he made it so easy.  He had tons of equipment.  He has a lot of talent and I'm so excited to see how this turns out.  He is going to all kinds of different bloggers. So many interesting people, so many interesting places. I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't even make the cut. I feel like I might be the boring one out of the group but it was a fun experience just being involved.

I have a sweet OBU girl from here that is home for the summer and she has been coming over for about 3 hours a week so I can run errands or go to appointments.  I had her come and watch the girls this morning so I could do my interviews. I'm SOOO thankful I did that because I don't know how it would have gone with the little monkeys bouncing all over me.  :-)

After we finished filming at the house - I took Chris to our little square I love so much to just get some footage.  We ate lunch at the Station ( a little burger place) outside.  I wanted to take him to Crystal Bridges but he was on a tight schedule and we just couldn't make it work.

We let the girls run through the splash park.

Before he headed to Missouri to film his next blogger - we got a tour of the trailer he re-did. It was so neat!
My girls LOVED it.  I think they wanted to just travel with Chris.  They really liked Chris a lot too.
Chris' wife, Casey, is a really sweet blogger.  They have a precious family and it is fun to keep up with them.   I'm so excited about what this is going to be.  I think it will be interesting just to see all the places he goes and the different people we will hear from.

Chris JUST started this journey.  If you want to follow along and see where he goes next - you can follow him on instagram and twitter.

Look up the hashtag #americanblogger and it's like a story in action.  You can follow Chris and then follow each of the bloggers.  You might just find some new blogs to read.  I will let you know when the movie comes out.  I don't know yet what form it will take on but I think it's going to be amazing - not because I'm in it - I just love the concept!
