A Day of Birthdays

We had Hollis' birthday party Saturday morning.
I decided this year to keep things low key.  I probably went overboard the first few birthdays our girls had but I have kind of learned that simple really is better.  And it was great!
I pulled out all the decorations I've had for the last few years and bought cupcakes at Sam's and we just had family and a couple of little friends come.

I did make little favor bags. I made my own labels and printed them.

All my girls really need are cupcakes and their grandparents.

My parents came and so did my Aunt Linda.  She is so good to my girls.
Scott's parents came and spent the weekend with us.  My girls were in heaven.

My sweet family

I made a few cookies to go with the cupcakes for the adults.
Love these little cupcake dresses from last summer that just happened to go with our cupcake theme!
 She's TWO!
The girls and their friends played in their rooms.
And colored cupcake pictures I printed off the internet.

These four little girls are SO adorable.  I hope they can grow up being friends!
I'm pretty sure she loved her party!
Last night we celebrated Scott's birthday.  His birthday is Monday but since his family was here I thought we would have a little party.  Laurie and Steve and the girls came over and I cooked enchiladas.
And I think I got him the perfect cake!
And it was RED VELVET!

My four favorite girls in the world.  Aren't they adorable?

I was WORN out last night after a day of parties and I gained at least 10 lbs in one day.

BUT it was a day celebrating people I love and I feel SO blessed!
