I've been on a diet for the last couple of weeks. I'm doing Weight Watchers old style because I know how to do it. I've thankfully lost 7.5 pounds! I need to get off some baby weight.
BUTTonight was my night to take snacks for our parenting class and I was excited to try out a few recipes I had seen on Pinterest and also make some old favorites. I totally blew the diet tonight but tomorrow is a new day, right? Anyway - I thought I'd share the recipes in case you are looking for some fun appetizers!
I tried this for the very first time and it was SOOOOOO good! I didn't make the cinnamon sugar pita chips but served it with graham crackers. This is something I think I'll be making a LOT of in the future.
(P.S. Target sells cinnamon sugar pita chips in case you don't want to make your own)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
This is SO good - I don't even know what to say. I served it with chocolate animal crackers. WHOA!
7 Layer Dip

Layer a can of refried beans
Next a layer of guacamole
Mix 16 oz sour cream with 1 pkg of taco seasoning - that's the next layer
Shredded Cheddar cheese
(That's only 6 layers - so I'm not sure why it's called 7 layer dip - but whatever - it is SO good!)
I have to show you the neatest prints I got for the girls rooms. I finally got them framed and hopefully before 2012 I'll get them hung up. I got them on an etsy shop and she does all kinds of amazing Bible verse prints!! You can't have enough scripture in your house in my opinion!
