Just a bunch of Bullet Points and no pictures

  • Harper got some kind of quick fever virus yesterday afternoon. Bless her heart - she was so sick. We were up most of the night and thankfully her fever broke really early this morning and she has been fine all day. We had a fun play group and a ladies night at church today but we missed both and stayed home to recover and so she wouldn't infect anyone else. I'm hoping we'll get a good night of sleep tonight and we can go back to life tomorrow. I was SO worried in the middle of the night when she was burning up with fever and I couldn't quit thinking about all the parents dealing with serious illnesses with their children. I can't imagine the stress and anxiety they are enduring. It was a good reminder to pray for them.
  • I'm going to start Show Us Your Life Friday back possibly next Friday. I've got to work on a list of topics and dates and then I'll post that. Ya'll have given me great ideas - feel free to email me more or leave them in comments. I want it to be fun for everyone!
  • All my OBU friends - Ouachita is having a Blog day on Monday! If you have a blog and you went to OBU or go to OBU - do a post about OBU and then you can link up HERE . I think it will be a fun way to find other OBU bloggers and read some neat posts!
  • I can hardly believe it's September, can you? And you know today is 9-02-10 for all you fellow Dylan, Kelly, Brandon, Brenda, Donna, Steve fans! :-)
  • Also - there is a small Christian school in Tulsa, OK that is for special needs children. They don't charge tuition - they function solely on donations. They are in a contest to win $500,000 and all you have to do to help them is go here: and look up The Little Lighthouse in Tulsa, OK and vote! It won't take 5 minutes of your time. The contest ends tomorrow. I have a special place in my heart for special needs kids - please help them! (If you go to "top schools" at the top - they are #28 - I think you can choose them from there)
