Show Us Your Life - Christmas cookies and treats

I don't do a lot of baking at Christmas time (or really ever) but I really want to start. Some of my sweet neighbors brought over a thing of goodies last night. As Harper gets older I want to bake with her and make that a tradition. I know a lot of us always have cookie exchange parties to go to this time of year.
So let's get some good ideas - share your cookies, fudge, treats that you make this time of year!

(My blog friend JESSICA hosted a virtual cookie exchange yesterday you might want to check out also - HERE)

I don't do McLinkys, but here is a helpful tip for you...Betty Crocker Sugar cookie mix! Seriously the best and easiest sugar cookie mix I have found. That way you can get straight to the fun part of decorating the cookies (which is all my kiddos care about anyway!) That, and stock up on sprinkles after each holiday...that is what makes for fun (albeit messy!) holiday baking at our house!

My mom always makes the mini Ritz bits crackers with peanut butter dipped in white chocolate. They are SUPER easy to make, but DELICIOUS!

I would love to be gifted in cookie baking...especially sugar cookies...and decorating them...but I am so not! Mine always look hideous!!! I have spent entirely too much time this year anyway eating those Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes...half the time I'm wanting someone to take them away from me, and the other half the time, I'm needing someone to pick up some more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I only have a couple more weeks to enjoy them!!

Jill and I always baked with my mom growing up. Every Saturday night, my mom would roll our hair in pink sponge rollers (for church) and then we would make cookies. Harper needs a sister so it will be even more fun! No pressure though! :)

Hey! I just wanted to ask you if you would participate in "Write His Name", a mission I am hoping everyone will support for Christmas... About a month ago, I encountered a woman who had never so much as heard the name of Jesus. So I had the idea that we could all write His name everywhere we go for Christmas. You can read about it on my blog if you would be interested in helping - http://strivingfor31.com

THANK YOU! :)
