pacis are a life saver. glad she finally gave in. is it hotter than arkansas?

we love the paci, Aidan loves the paci. I kept an extra 1 in the diaper bag the other day, forgot the 1 but thought I had another 1, guess what, not there. My mom had it in her purse. I had to compromise, baby bottle nipple on the ring of the bottle with my finger in the end of the nipple. It worked, soothed him just enough in the car to go to sleep

Love the new blog design! We are in Wisconsin and it has been a weird summer as far as weather goes. It really has been rather cool and not too humid. I am enjoying it while it lasts. Can't say I am disappointed not to be in the heat. Hope you get some reprieve. Enjoy your vacation!

Stopping by to let you know I'm praying!
Psalms 91:3-6 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Have a fun, safe and relaxing time on vacation. God bless the paci, or as we called them, Binkies. I always kept multiples of the same kind on hand just in case.

I hear you on the heat. I'm in Houston and was begging for some of that rain you were getting last month.

My oldest was ADDICTED to the paci from birth. She'll be 2 next month and we are 1 month clean and sober...ha ha ha

My youngest HATES it and prefers her fingers, but I hope she has a change of heart in the next few months like little Miss Harper did. It's so much easier to break a kid of the paci rather than the thumb or fingers since you can't take their hands away. ha ha ha

Most of all I love it that you are living for Christ and that you are not ashamed to say so. I just told my MOPS group about the ornaments you made (I'm on the creative (crafts) committee), I think we might make them for one of our Christmas stations this next year! SOOO cute!

Just a quick idea for you and Harper...

There's a children's book called, "Pinkalicious". If you've not gotten it, you should. You could do a Pink Party. Ask that all of Harper's gifts be pink ones. Then you can serve EVERYTHING PINK, just like what happened to the little girl in the book who turned pink eating pink cupcakes. Then she had to eat lots of green things to turn back to her normal self. SO, make sure you serve some greens as well. Great book even if you don't use it as a party theme.

There's also a "Purplelicious" book as well.
