Updates

NOPE

I'm not back from my blog break just yet.

But since I'm always giving you things to pray for - I thought I should follow up on two important updates

Do you remember the Bevins family? They had lost two children and were in the process of adopting a daugther and had brought her home from the hospital when the mother changed her mind? I was so heartbroken over them.
Well - guess who are now the proud parents of a little boy named Cash??
When God closes one door, he opens another.

And little Kayleigh? She has been in the NICU for 10 months and recently after a few surgeries - she is (they believe) brain dead. They posted some beautiful pictures of her yesterday and she looks so much like Harper when she sleeps to me. It is unspeakable the pain they must be in.
Please go read here about them and how might could help. Imagine if that was your family and then consider for a minute how blessed you are?
You can also go on www.etsy.com and search for "Kayleigh" and there are sellers who will donate their profits to Kayleigh if you buy something from them (win-win)!
It really IS so much better to give than to receive.

Oh yeah - and Stellan went home today!!!!!

Oh and here is Harper with her Aunt Carrie and Uncle Chris this past weekend. I didn't want to make a quick post without at least one picture of my sweetie pie.

Bye for a few more days!

Kelly,

I love the story about the Bevins family. I have been following their blog and I just kept praising Him last week for their blessing! Your blessing also just gets more beautiful with each passing day. Hope you are having a great week and drinking lots of Sonic drinks-- I just had my first Sonic last week and I am HOOKED!

I'm so happy for the Bevins family and their sweet new addition. He looks so sweet in all the pics she's posted.
Kaleigh's situation just breaks my heart. I can't imagine what they're going through and all the emotions they're feeling. I'm praying that our God of miracles will provide healing, as He sees fit, for this sweet baby girl and her family.
So excited for Stellan and Mckmama to be going home today. I can't wait to see some precious pics of their homecoming and re-uniting with the other small children.
Great picture of Harper with her aunt and uncle!

Kelly, please pray for The Hamrick Family. Brian Hamrick, age 32, passed away Friday night. He was pastor of First Baptist Church, Clewiston, Florida. He was married to Katherine and had two boys, Nathan, age 4 and Luke, age 1. He had been sick but was recovering, the death was sudden. I went to college with Brian. He was a wonderful guy and will be missed.

excited for the kayleigh fundraiser. my heart is breaking for that family. i am also working on an etsy fundraiser for an extremely rare disease, Cystinosis. only about 500 in the U.S. are affected, it is incredibly rare and doesn't receive any government funding, so every fundraiser is incredibly important!

Hello Kelly,
My sister has a miracle baby conceived through four years of fertility treatments. Noah is 1 1/2 now. They just found out they are expecting baby number two in October! No treatments this time! Woohoo! Miracle baby number two. We are all still so surprised and feeling so beyond blessed.

I hope you are enjoying your break. Can't wait to see the updates.
Have a wonderful evening.
~Melissa :)
