Happy V-day!

I realize this flower band is OVER THE TOP - but I thought it was fun to put it on her for just a quick snap shot! How is your valentines day? Ours has been really great so far!
My parents came over today for a couple of hours. My dad brought me the changing table/dresser he made for me. I absolutely love it - she can use it her whole life. Once we get the pad on there and the picture hung above it - I'll have to show a finished shot!
My parents were sweet to keep Harper for us for a little while so Scott and I could get out and have a valentines lunch. I know they probably enjoyed it more than we did. They are just a little bit crazy about their first grandchild.
This is my favorite thing - we sit for hours sometime with her asleep on my boppy pillow after she eats. She is so sweet and precious!
Here is my smiling face after I got out of the house for the first time in over a week. We went to Copelands and they gave us special heart beads. ha! We also hit up Sam's. I'd say it was the perfect Valentines date. But I couldn't wait to get home to my monkey.
Harper continues to get so many cute things in the mail. This sweet girl sent her a whole package of fun, fun monogrammed things but I could just die over this onesie.
And my favorite bow lady sent Harper a whole mess of new bows and hats - I love the little Easter bunny hat and the daddy's girl bow. Thank you Shannon!!!!

Who has special plans for V-day tonight? I can't think of anything more romantic than being home with my two favorite people on earth in our pj's - probably eating Sonic or Subway and maybe downloading a movie off of apple TV or some random reality show. There is probably nothing more romantic to me than watching my husband take care of our sweet girl. It's made me fall in love all over again!

Hey Scott & Kelly & Harper,
My Valentines Day is going OK I guess. I don't know if ya'll have had the chance to read my latest post on my blog yet. But, Last Saturday, around 10:30 A.M. My family and I lost our Dog, that I named " Daphne " She was at the time just 2 1/2 yr. old. She would have turned 3 Yrs. old on Wednesday Feb. 11th along with her Brother , Apollo. She was a Great Pyreneese, a week ago. So, I've just been sitting around my house just thinking about her all day. And wishing that she was still here with us to help us and "Apollo" & adopted Sister "Maggie" take care of her Babies. They are 10 weeks old now. But Anyway , To change the subject here. Has Dawson met Little Miss. Harper yet? Love ,Randee

Hi Kelly - That is a beautiful changing table and such a priceless keepsake! Your family sounds like ours right now. I had a premature granddaughter born weighing 1 lb. 12 ozs....after 107 days in the NICU(www.morgankatherine.blogspot.com), she is home and thriving. God is so good! Well, we got to keep her last night so my daughter and son in law could have a Valentine dinner just like your parents got to keep Harper. Trust me, you parents might think the treat is for you but for us as grandparents the treat was all ours! Grandchildren are one of God's greatest gifts. You are a precious family.

How is your doggie adjusting to a new family of four?? I was wondering about that and whether he got a *BIG* bath before meeting his sister (your Dad's post last week was a hoot!).

I agree with a previous poster. Girls outgrow their hairbows so quickly. Embrace the moment! My kids have grown up in a home where there is always an abundance of bows for my business orders, and yet my girls will clearly state they do not like to wear any ribbons or hairbows. Shameful, lol.

Have a happy day! Enjoy your quiet family time.

What sweet pictures! The changing table is beautiful! I love Harper sleeping on your boppy. My niece loves sleeping on hers, too. It helps with limiting spit up, too! You are looking fantastic, too!!
