PRAISE!!!!!!

Most of you have seen this painting that is hanging in Harper's nursery. It is the verse I prayed as we tried to get pregnant with Harper and what we claimed after we were. This verse now means even more to me as we watch the miracle of Harper's healing.

Today has been the best day ever. I think it's probably better than my wedding day!
Harper has done SO well today. Scott told her yesterday that he would buy her a pony if she would just try to breathe on her own ........so someone is going to have to break the news to Dawson that not only are we getting a baby but a horse too. :-)
We started off the day at 80% oxygen. Right now she is at ........
57%!!!!!!
She is breathing half on her own! I have smiled all day long! We are SO excited!
We still have a long road here but she has turned the corner!
We had another sweet group of visitors today - thank you for all of you who came!!!

This is Harper's other day nurse, Karen. We love her too! Thanks to all the nurses for taking such good care of our sweet girl!
Scott's parents are so helpful to us - they went and did our laundry today. We are so blessed to have our families with us to support us.
We got this beautiful fruit bouquet today - thank you so much to the Woods in NE!!! What an amazing gift!
Look at these cute cookies!!!!!!! I love them - I don't think I can handle eating them - they are so precious - one says "welcome Harper" - thank you Laurie, Linda, Sunni and Tiffany - ya'll are SO sweet - I can't thank you enough!
Isn't this the cutest thing ever???? This sweet girl, Jen, came to see me on Monday and she came back today and brought me this necklace! I love it so much and I'm thinking I'll wear it pretty proudly!!!!

So many of you have asked for an address where you can send things. Really - we don't need anything - we are SO blessed. All we need is your prayers. But if you need an address - this is probably best:

Harper Stamps
EOPC
St. Francis Hospital
6161 S Yale Avenue
Tulsa, OK 74136

Thank you for your prayers - God has been so good. Please keep praying for little Brayden and for the other babies in NICUs.

I found your blog through a link on a friends facebook page. Harper's sweet pics speak to my heart - You see, I have a Harper, but her name is Alison. In 2006 she spent 4 mos in NICU in Baton Rouge. It was a scary time, but we had a peace and believed that God had promised a complete healing - and he did! Ali is now a normal 2 yr old with NO evidence of her rough start. God can & will do SO MUCH MORE than we can imagine! We truly believe he worked through prayer warriors from our church family & through complete strangers that visited her site. Please try to take a sec to just look at her pics (I know how hectic your life is right now). I pray they will encourage you on this journey. You have already come so much further than we had at this stage - congrats on great O2 levels! I am praying for a quick & easy reduction of nitric (Ali held onto hers like a safty blanket). Praying for you & your testimony through your blog!

In Christ, Stephanie Rogers

I have been away all day and upon returning home tonight, I am so thrilled with the wonderful news about Harper. I'm so glad that she has turned the corner. Just think, hopefully she will be opening her eyes soon and taking a look at her awesome Mom and Dad and everyone else who loves her so much. She is one lucky little girl! And hasn't it been so nice for you all to have such caring friends to come and see you in the hospital to help pass the time and show their love to you? And to think that a lot of these friends don't even know you personally. God is so good. Love & blessings!

Hold the hand of our Lord tightly, and do your thing little one. You are doing super great! We know you can do it!
I don't know your mommy personally, but I can see from her smile in photos that she loves you with all of her heart and soul. She will be your best pal FOREVER! This is from a mommy of two little girls...I KNOW the beauty of this love.
Praying for you tonight.

It is Friday morning and I wanted to share this scripture that was in my daily study. I thought of Kelly and Jenna and thought this was meant for both of you.

Isaiah: 40: 29

He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak.

Heavenly Father, we know that Kelly and Jenna are tired and worn out, and we know both the precious babies are weak and need your strength. I pray your word believing that you will give power to the families and strength to the sick. In Jesus Name, AMEN

Have a great day.

Dear Kelly - I know it may be some time before you read this because of all that you are going through right now, but I just wanted to leave you a little word of encouragment. Your baby girl is so precious and she has a special place in my heart because my maiden name is Harper. I always wanted to name one of my kids that, but it just didn't work out. I am praying for that sweet little girl every day and I am praising God for each postitive update you send out. I was recently blessed to be able to support my best friend through her twins' stay in a NICU for a week. They were born at 35 weeks, so they just needed a little help to get their lungs matured and they are at home now. Praise God! I do know how overwhelming that area can be, but it sounds like you have some wonderful nurses and doctors taking care of Harper which helps to ease the anxiety. Keep on praying and staying positive - I hope Harper is home and well SOON!

Praise God! I am very excited to hear that Harper is doing better & breathing on her own half-way! Love the story about Scott & the pony. He may regret that in a few years! Keep up the positive- God will see you through this!

Oh Kelly, I'm so thrilled about this good news. God is in the business of healing us. I continuely pray thru out my day at work for Harper. Psalms 14:1 says "There is no God",how can anyone really belive that?????? Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for & certain of what we do not see", there is allot of people praying for Harper & I belive we do have the faith for her healing, & Hebrews 10:23 says "Let us hold onto confession of our hope without wavering for he who promised is faithful". God's glory is shining thru sweet little Harper, Scott & you. May God give you the rest & strength you need to do what you have to do each day,I don't understand why you guys are having to go thru this but God does, his glory & your love is shining thru you all, love & hugs...Karen Barnes= Jessica M's mommy.

I am so happy to hear about Harper! We pray everytime we think about you which is often. Even the kids are praying! I am amazed how this is all working out for you. I read your dad's blog yesterday about the baby he prayed for. He is so right, all of this is for the Glory of God. I can't even begin to imagine how many people and lost souls you and Harper have touched since her birth last week. Including me! I am overwhelmed with the love and support you have received! You are truly blessed and I am blessed to be able to call you my friend! Love you Kelly!
Still praying,
Cheridyth

I just recently came across your blog and have been keeping up with Harper's progress, as well as praying. I had to laugh about your husband promising her a pony if she would breathe on her own. Our daughter spent her first 4 days in the NICU, and while her condition was nothing like Harper's, I remember my husband promising her a convertible when she turned 16 if she would just get better. Girls are great at getting their Daddies wrapped around their finger early one. :)

Kelly,
I am praying for you and am with you in spirit. Please know that I will think of you and little Harper each moment of the day. She is in good hands. Just remember, slow and steady wins the race. She will come around to breathing on her own, soon. I wish I could be there with you and give you a huge hug. We will be checking in to see how she is doing eac day.
Praying for you a little Harper often.
Love,
Sara

I am so glad to hear Harper is continuing to do better each day! I was wondering - where did you get that adorable painting for the nursery. I have a friend who will be having a little girl in May that it would be a perfect fit for.

Continuing to send hugs and prayers from Montana,

Mandi
