A little of this.........A little of That

Julia e-mailed me today because she thought of me when she saw these pj's!!! They match Harper's bedding exactly. I'm pretty sure I will be ordering these because not only do they look so cute and comfy but I'm pretty sure my wardrobe for the first month of Harper's life will be pj's.
I was wondering if anyone out there wants to have a little girl in a few years and name her Harper???? Because I will be able to give you a multitude of things. I think I've gone overboard with the monogramming. (and I'm not done yet!)

So we are headed to my parents house tomorrow after work to spend Thanksgiving with them. We are going to come back on Friday so we can have a few days at home. I desperately need to get the nursery organized and once that is done and Scott hangs all the pictures - I will give a tour of the nursery! Yeay! I will also feel much better about her coming at any point!

Sunday night at our church they had people come up to microphones and share what they were most thankful for. It was very moving. We were sitting far away from a mike and I didn't want to crawl over people or get up there and start sobbing - but I think you all know what I'm most thankful for this year. But I have so much to be thankful for outside of the precious gift we've been given. We live in uncertain times, in a horrible economy - but God is still on His throne - He is my provider. I have everything I could ever hope for and more and I hope I tell Him every day just how thankful I am. I also hope that if for some reason I lost all my wordly possessions or my health or anything dear to me - that I would still be thankful and know that He is all I need!

(I'm also thankful for gas that is $1.37 today and that the sonic by my house is closed for renovations and I haven't gone into convulsions and that as of yet - I have no stretch marks (yippee!) and that "Biggest Loser" is on tonight (and hopefully Vicky is going HOME!))

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I'm VERY thankful for the Bloggy world this year and all the wonderful friends I've made!

LOVE the pj's - they are PERFECT. They will definitely help you transition from the cutest pregnant girl ever to the cutest new mommy ever. :)

I hope ya'll have so much fun at your parent's house for Thanksgiving. You are right - there is SO much to be thankful for, and The Stamps are definitely on my list! Love you, friend!

I'm thankful for the two children that the Lord blessed me with. And I'm especially thankful for the little pineapple about to be a watermelon named Harper!

I hope you get the PJ's...they are perfect! I love all the things you are thankful for...having no stretch marks is awesome! I haven't gotten any either, and I thank the good Lord every day! Can't wait to see Harper's nursery.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Sister - I couldn't agree with you more!!! Especially the Vicky part!!

I've been following your blog for awhile now and am tickled (pink!) for you and your growing family. As you can see from my blog (I have a baby girl who is almost 7 months), little girls are so much fun. Don't worry about the labor - especially not the epidural, which is the best!

Oh, and I agree, Vickie is horrid and needed to be booted yesterday.

Love the pj's.. I am thankful for getting to know you this year and for the bloggy world. Have a great Thanksgiving! Love all of Harper's monogrammed stuff!

AMEN TO VICKY GOING HOME! She drives me crazy! She absolutely has no ethics.

Also parenting will come naturally as soon as you hold that little baby in your arms...nothing can stop you!

I love reading ur blog, I found it from my good friend Flo's site!

May God continue to bless you!!!!

Oh, I love all of Harper's stuff! I totally believe monogramming is addicting... Once you start, you can't stop!

I saw that that Sonic was closed... It looks so weird! It looks like all of the Sonics in the area are getting remodeled! Thankfully, we moved just in time and have a newer Sonic by our new house... so I am not missing out! :) I hope you make it... I feel your pain! ;)

Have a wonderful time at home! You'll get to pick up your painting, right!?

Those PJs are cute cute cute--order them right away! :)

ALL that cute "Harper" stuff...I'm tempted to try to talk Lane into trying for a 4th and naming her Harper. You'd better go ahead and give them to someone else though because I don't think I stand a chance with that conversation! It's all so adorable though--that girl is going to be stylish 24/7!

Happy Thanksgiving--what a wonderful holiday season for you guys this year!!!

Your SONIC IS CLOSED?!?!? You're a stronger woman than I am...I would have packed up and moved by now. I feel sure I am putting Sonic's owner's kids through college!

I have to agree that the IV was worse then the epidural. Gotta love anything that makes you enjoy and remember the birth of your little one! :)

BTW, I also wanted to share with your readers, if you don't mind, a Thanksgiving giveaway that I am hosting on my blog. Please consider posting and visiting. :)

Happy Thanksgiving, Kelly! I hope you have a restful few days.

I'll be in your neck of the woods, so I'm glad to know that gas is super cheap there!

P.J.'s are cute! Would love to know where I can get them. Linda

I love monogrammed stuff, in fact I have a machine to do it myself. I have twin daughters that are almost 6 months old, Lexyn and Brittyn so if it wasn't for monogramming these days they wouldn't have a thing with their name on it. You don't have to much yet, I love it all.

Love the PJ's! I want some too!
What an awesome thing for your church to do, I've never seen/heard of that being done before. We always do that in my family, but what a neat thing to share with your church family too!

I am so glad you feel the same way about Vicky!! She does not make me happy! I am a personal trainer so I get that you can not openly show a side but I watch and just yell.. Oh and those PJ's are too cute. I treated myself to a pair today as I am getting over the flu and I felt I deserved them...compared to what is on the market..those look comfy and ..covering!

Love the pjs and the monogrammed stuff!! I can't wait to see Harper's nursery!

I'm disgusted with Vicky. I was so mad Amy saved her last week and now look what happened! Josh and I were so mad! It's really getting to the good part of the season when you can really see the weight loss!

Kelly - I don't think I've left you a comment before, but I've been reading your blog for a while (hopped over from Angie's). I just love reading your adventures and can't wait to "meet" Harper through your blog! Anyway, I'm an avid Biggest Loser fan, but none of my blogging buddies watch it, so I have no one to vent to about VICKY STAYING!!! But I saw you were hoping it would turn out otherwise, so I hope it's okay for me to say...I was so so so so upset she got to stay! In fact, the whole thing made me so mad I just wanted a snickers bar. I think maybe that is not the intent of the show. LOL.

Yay for no stretch marks! I haven't gotten any either (yet), at 29 weeks. I've been using Cocoa Butter religiously and I'm really hoping I won't get any at all.

You so gotta get those jammies!!! And be keeping an eye out - I'm going to be shipping out a package for Harper soon!!!

And dang it - Vicky is still there!!! I have never disliked someone more in my life on that show than her!!! UGH!

Cute PJs.

I didn't get stretch marks with either of my kids, either.

PTL for cheap (not just cheapER) gas!!

And Amy C. made a BIG mistake last week when she got soft toward Vickie!! Every week I say, "That girl's GOT to go!" Yet, she lives on another week.

Have a safe trip home and a wonderful Thanksgiving. I see your Mom's got the table set!!

Those jammies are cute! And you are right girl...you will live in those the first few weeks!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Those PJ's were made for you. You won't even feel bad about being in your jammies when they're that glam!

My little grandSON is named Harper. He'll be 2 in January and is simply adorable. Perhaps your Harper will like older men??
That reminds me of a true story- my male cousin Marty (for Martin) married a girl named Marty (for Martha), so they were Marty and Marty :) The family referred to them as big Marty (6'3") and little Marty (5'3")

Oh, man! Amy REALLY should have voted off Vicky last week! I have never disliked a contestant more than Vicky! She's just mean.

Adorable baby stuff! And you are lucky about the stretch marks!

It's funny you mention other little girls named Harper. I have a friend at church that is having a little girl and I just found out that she is naming her Harper! : )

I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and are able to shorten your to-do list so you can feel at ease about things!

I love it...I hope Vicky goes home tonight too, (Biggest Loser) She has driven me crazy this whole season!!! You should be thankful for that $ on the gas...ours is still $2.05, but I'm not complaining it had been $4.05, anyway...Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving!

I am feeling you about Vicky! I wish she would go home. It looks like we have to endure another week of her. I am rooting for Michelle or Renee!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
No Vicky did NOT go home and I am very sad about that!! I coudn't believe Amy didn't vote her off. I can't believe she didn't add 2 and 2 together and see that once the black team was gone she would be next!! I felt bad for her but at the same time she didn't PLAY THE GAME!! I can only hope Michelle or her mom win. I just don't like mean people and Vicky will stab you in the back any chance she gets. I am hoping next week we will send her off!!

Hello,

I recently came across your blog and just love it. I have even tried out some of your recipes, yum!
Ironically, I was considering the name Harper for my next baby, for a girl as well as a boy. We already have a Hannah and Hunter so it blends nicely.
Have a wonderful holiday,

Jennifer

Hey Kelly, since you've nothing better to do, I've tagged you on my blog! There's probably nothing "random" we don't know about you anymore - as long as you've been blogging.

Kelly,

I discovered your fantastic blog several weeks ago and have been meaning to leave a comment... Congratulations on your impending arrival! I too am expecting my first child on July 6th. I just hit 8 weeks, so I still have a good way to go. I think Harper is the cutest name... I have loved the name since reading To Kill a Mockingbird in ninth grade English. The main reason I am writing is to let you know that your story has helped me greatly. My husband Travis and I were married on October 4th of this year. Three weeks ago we learned we were expecting. At first I could not understand why this was happening and I was upset that it was happening so fast. After reading your story, I realized just how blessed we truly are and we should not question why this happened but to embrace this situation as a gift from God. So, thank you! And, congratulations on Baby Harper!

Best wishes for the remainder of your pregnancy and a healthy delivery!

Happy Thanksgiving,

Your stuff is TOOOO cute! I've always had Harper at the top of my name list ever since my mom (a teacher) had the cutest little 1st grader named Harper about 10 years ago! I've been hearing the name a lot more lately, and I'm with you - I don't want it to get too overdone and turn into the next 'Hailey' or something (no offense to those Hailey's out there, but that name caught on FAST!). My husband and I just started trying a few months ago, so say a prayer for us, and maybe next year I might be able to take you up on your offer!

Hi there!
I came across your blog thru a friend of a friend (Becca)... It really caught my eye when I saw you were naming your daughter Harper. I was all set on that name, then found out we were having a boy (Brax). Anyway, I've enjoyed reading thru your posts... Enjoy your pregnancy, it will be over before you know it!
