Weekend Plans

So who is excited that it's FRIDAY?????????

I started off my weekend right by eating with Laurie and Elizabeth to celebrate their birthdays!!! Our friend Julie was supposed to eat with us but her sister-in-law had her baby this morning so she is headed down to see her!

My in-laws are coming to visit us this weekend. We have several things planned for while they are here. Scott's mom and I are going to go to a thing at my church tomorrow morning for women called Mugs & Muffins. It's always a lot of fun.

I'm excited because our speaker is a lady in our church who used to be our women's ministry leader but she just quit so she could go back to school to be a counselor. She is just the neatest woman - she is practically my idol. She's so beautiful and put together but more than that - she is hilarious and just a very Godly woman. She also went to OBU and grew up with Beth Moore. You can tell - they kind of talk the same. :-) She is giving her testimony and I know it will be great!
Also on the agenda - we are going to go here tomorrow afternoon if the weather is nice. I've lived here 13 years and I've never been here. I'm excited.

And we will do lots of eating out in the middle of our adventures!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I'm sure I'll post a full recap on Sunday night so check back for what I'm sure will be a very riveting post! :-)

It sounds like you're going to have a great weekend. The safari looks really cool! Thanks for letting me know about the Patriarchs. I'm in between Bible studies, and I love recommendations!

We love the safari! I think the neatest thing about it is they have kangaroos in the their petting zoo. You can go in the fence with them and pet them. The babies in the mommies pouches are adorable!

Spider monkeys are so cute!!!!!!!! I hope you have a fun encounter with one :) We have a thing at our church very similar called "coffee talk" I hope you have fun with your mom-in-law!!! Have a great weekend and we'll see you Sunday.

And yes, I hope you can find a better way to let everyone know if you're going to have a baby.

Sad news...my sister-in-law ended up miscarrying her twins last week. It's been really really tough. Please pray for her if you think of it. She had what's called a "molar" pregnancy...if you don't know what this is you'll have to look it up.

PS- I went to MiMi's today and thought of you... Had I had my camera I would have taken a picture! :)

We took the kids to the Safari in May 07 when we were visiting my family in Gentry. It was so much fun! Be sure to empty your bladder before you start driving. = ) We were in our van so it was little odd to be eyeball to eyeball with an ostrich with only a piece of glass between. Keep those windows up!! = ) And take lots of pictures for us. = )

I hope that you have fun with your in-laws!
We have something like that safari around here. You can drive in your car, and they also have wagons you can ride in. When I taught pre-school we would take our 4 year olds there on a field trip every year. It was really cool! I hope that the weather cooperates so that you can go and take lots of neat pictures!

I love the Safari!! I'm sure you will as well! Bring a box of raisins to feed to the monkeys. You just put a few on your hand and they will take them!! I can't wait to hear about your Safari adventure!

I thought about you this morning as I saw MSN's article about the tornado in Little Rock. Such wicked weather you all have had lately.

Sounds like you'll have a lot of fun this weekend. We are heading home from Tennessee tomorrow. We have been here a week and have had a blast. Please check out my blog as I've updated it. Even did a little smilebox album. It was a lot of fun!

Have fun!

What a fun weekend! I hated to miss lunch with you girls...I was starting to think I might actually make it, but then the baby came! We'll have to do a repeat. Hope Mugs/Muffins was fun. And you'll have to post a full recap of the Wilderness Safari...we've never done that either...
