Questions

Caroline tagged me with a meme and I'm glad she did because frankly - it's a slow week and I didn't have anything much to write about. Except for the fact that the weather this week is AWESOME (75 and sunny) and I really wish I was on spring break next week with the rest of the world. I did have lunch today with a very sweet friend from church who has been such an encouragement to me. We ate at this new coffee shop in town and it was SO good!

Anyway - back to the meme. First of all - if you haven't read Caroline's blog - you should. I just ADORE her. She is so precious and sweet and pretty and such a Godly girl. She is an art teacher and a seminary student and I'm waiting for God to bring her an equally wonderful husband. (And we have a lot of the same clothes!) I hope that sometime this summer I get to meet this girl in person!!!!

1. What if I could meet someone in the Art world to chat with?

Well that semester in Art in the Humanities at OBU did nothing for me because I don't know anything about art - so I'm twisting it into what "artist" I would love to visit with - I would see any of these people above - Christy Nockels, Chris Tomlin and David Crowder. I would love to go out to eat with the three of these. Maybe they could sing a little for me. Maybe we could sing together!

2. What if I could have one wish granted for the benefit of all mankind?
First I would wish that no one had to live in poverty and that everyone could grow up in the kind of wonderful, Christian home I grew up in. But mostly I would wish that every person in the world would KNOW Jesus Christ and accept them as their personal Savior and have a relationship with Him and get the peace and joy that can only come from HIM!

3. What if I could travel anywhere in the world?
I would LOVE to go to Europe one day. That is my dream. But I also think I will never love anywhere as much as I love Kauai, HI. It has a special place in my heart! (or Maui!)

4. What if I could live in a period other than the present for 24 hours?

I would have made a GREAT 1950's housewife.

5. What if I could make over 3 areas of my body?

I would want big blue or green eyes, perfect skin and I would love to lose 30 pounds.

6. What if I could become an animal for 24 hours?

I would love to have his life for just one day! :-)

7. What if I could bring someone back to live for 24 hours?

I would love to see my grandparents again once more! But I don't think they would want to leave Heaven!

I'm not going to tag anyone - but if you are having a slow week - feel free to jump on board!!!!!

It would be great if everyone knew Jesus! Also, you don't need to lose 30 pounds! You would blow away!

You would make a GREAT 1950's wife (you make a great wife now though I'm sure...right Big Daddy?!?!). Always clean your house in a dress, cook, and entertain with the best of them!!

I so agree with you on a lot of these, I'm pretty bored, so I'll go ahead and do them on my blog. Thanks for the good read!

I would have loved to have been a 1950's housewife I think...as long as my hubby would be nice to me!! This was fun! I love Christy Nockels (sp?) too!!

I think you look wonderful just as you are. I agree with everyone else. If you lost 30 pounds, I might find you on my front lawn up here in Iowa! Not that I wouldn't like to meet you in person, but there are probably are easier ways ;)

I, too, would have loved to be a 1950's housewife... Me and June Cleaver would have hit it off great! And 30 pounds?!?! Those babies will need every bit of that 30 pounds... If it really is there... I'm not seein' it!

I love all your answers! But I have to say that you so do NOT need to lose 30 pounds!

I got to take Art Humanities at Henderson. In summer school. The professor scheduled to teach the class had a heartattack or something a couple of weeks before the class started so they roped another professor into it. She DID NOT want to be there. And figured we didn't either. I learned nothing but got a super easy A. Which I didn't mind since I worked hard for my A in Music Humanities at the same time at OBU. Ah, fun memories. = )

I am for real wanting to go to Hawaii right now! Several of my friends went with a college group last week, and I was so jealous! I think all of us blogging gals would love to be those domestic divas in the 50s! How fun :)

You need to come down to Waco and go to church with me! We went to David Crowder's church while I was down there! He is so awesome!
