Super Bowl Sunday

We decided to stay home this year to watch the Super Bowl. Our Sunday School Class was having their annual football party which is always so much fun but a. I have to go to the doctor in the morning and there are things that have to be done on Monday mornings for work that I would need to do tonight instead. b. Scott really just wanted to be able to watch the game and sometimes you can't do that in a large crowd and c. I had Bible Study this afternoon that I didn't want to miss.

Oh well - there is something nice about just watching the game at home quietly in your pj's. We got Papa Murphy's pizza (delite - it's half the fat)

and a little coke in our razorback tervis tumblers we got for Christmas from Scott's parents
and here is the set up - Scott on one couch and Dawson on another and I divide my time between the two. ha! Actually - I only care about the commercials - so I'm working and doing other stuff while the game is on.
There have been a few funny commercials so far. What is your favorite one? Mine so far was the homely girl who rubbed planters nuts on herself and got all of the attention. Or the Clysedale horse one.

We're not really into the Super Bowl either. Lane is studying for a test, so he's recording it and will fast forward thru it later. R is at Mom & Dad's, so the three of us went to Outback tonight for dinner. I called ahead for a table and they laughed and said, "there's no wait...Super Bowl Sunday." I told Lane I felt like a loser being the only one at the restaurant because it looks like we have no friends to watch the game with! :) The pizza looks good, and cute Razorbacks cups!

The pizzas look yummy! My husband is working tonight, so it is just me and Minnie (our lab). I have been doing homework. I will watch the commericals with him later.

We're doing the same thing...staying home in our pj's. It's great! I've actually even watched some of the game, but my favorite part is the half-time show. Tom Petty had no wardrobe malfunctions! Ha!

We are home tonight watching the game alone too! I liked the peanut commercial! Ha!

At home in pjs too! I love the one for some flavored water where the lizards are dancing to "Thriller"....Brian says that they wasted 1 million dollars bc I don't remember the name of the water!

I walked by long enough to see the preview for a new kid's movie during the game. The only reason I stopped was because it had the Toy Story characters. I'm partial to the Clydesdales because Justin's uncle used to own an Anheuser Busch warehouse and so they were all about all that stuff. They are beautiful horses! Wish I had some of those fried pickles you had yesterday. That is one of my guilty pleasures and the only thing I will eat Ranch dressing with!

We did the exact same thing super bowl and pizza by ourselves. It was a blast. Our fav. was the doritos with the mouse! Not as many funny ones as years past it seems.

I like watching it at home in my pjs too! If we go to a party, I usually end up talking instead of watching the game. And I really like watching the game!

My favorite commercials were the Planters nuts, and the e*trade baby. That one totally cracked me up.

We stayed home too. It's so much better to watch in pj's! :o) I actually don't recall much of the commercials. We had steak on the bbq tonight with pasta penna and homemade biscuits. Oh but pizza sounds dee-lish!

Have a great week!

That pizza looks good! I didn't watch much of the super bowl. In fact, the only commercial I saw was the James Carville coca-cola one and I loved it! I went to Crossfire in D.C. (when it was still on) once and he was hosting that day and have liked him since.
