Cookie Swap

Tonight Guy and Julie hosted a cookie swap party and it was so much fun. We all brought a tray of cookies and Julie made tons of great appetizers and we ate and visited and then we all got a big sampling of each others cookies. And they all look so good!

The table of cookies - there were more on another table! Don't think about all of the calories represented there.
Kacy, Isabel and Laurie
The guys - I'm sure they were talking football
Elizabeth, Lindsay, Robert and Julie
Isabel, Elizabeth and Laurie
All of the couples - (I took the picture because I was a single girl tonight - Scott couldn't be there).
The girls - (I just want to say that I love all of these girls) - Lindsay, Elizabeth, Kacy, me, Julie, Isabel, Laurie, and Leah

I told Julie we would have to make this an annual tradition and just circulate houses each year!

You got the pictures and synopsis up before I got the dishes done! You really are fast :) Good pictures--it was a fun evening.

What a fun party! I tried to host a cookie exchange, but all the foreign teachers already had a booked schedule. Oh well! Everyone in your photos are always so beautifully dressed. Everyone always looks so clean.

Yum! Everything looks so good! How do you stay so tiny with all of these goodies? I can just sniff a cookie and gain 10 pounds these days!

I did e-mail you but it didn't go through...I tried it through the Outlook default thing but I'm going to try again through AOL.

I hope you have a wonderful, fabulous weekend!!! :)

I wish I could have been at this party! The cafe team that I volunteer with on Sundays is doing a cookie exchange this Sunday a.m. I have no idea what I'm taking yet...I'm hosting a play group cookie decorating/pizza party tomorrow, so I'll think about Sunday once tomorrow's party is done. :) I've been baking/rolling out cookies for what seems like days...but I know it will be fun to see the kids going crazy with the icing and candy!

I laughed about "eastern journey's" comment about y'all looking so "clean"! :) You are a lovely group! :)

A cookie swap? I bought a little book on that once but I've never been or hosted one! That's a great idea! I might have to try that next Christmas!
