I've got sunshine on a cloudy day

First of all - today was raining and cold and dark and dreary and it's just hard to feel real happy on a day like that. And then I had to go in for an ultrasound just to find out "my eggs aren't big enough yet" so I get to go have another one Friday and that is just really discouraging.
But I have sunshine on cloudy days because first my friend Elizabeth shows up at my work with this drink (one of the best things I've ever drank) to brighten my day and it did make me feel so much better. Mostly because I have a sweet friend who prays for me and thinks of me.
Then I met my friends Julie, Kacy and Ginger for dinner at Panera before choir practice. That was so fun.

This is Julie and Kacy. Kacy wanted me to let everyone know that she just had her hair done today and the stylist blew dry it different than she would normally do herself - so let that be known.
This is Ginger and her daughter Alex. I want to give a special shout out to Ginger because she just realized I had a blog last week and said she wanted to start hanging out so she could be on the blog - so I'm so glad she has already made it! :-)
Look at Alex's precious outfit! Ginger makes her the cutest clothes I have ever seen. And the most exciting part is next month - she is going to start giving me sewing lessons. I will never be able to make anything as cute as she does but if I could just get my machine threaded - we will be going somewhere!
And then I got home and got the sweetest non-Christmas card in the mail that encouraged me so much!
I'm so thankful for so many sweet friends!

That little outfit is super cute!! If you learn how to make one like it, will you post it so I can try to learn!?

I'm sorry for the discouraging news at the doctor today. I'm praying that Friday will be good news.

You are becoming my restaurant guide for Little Rock. We've never eaten at a Panera bread.

Alex's outfit is so cute! Can we get her hand-me-downs? :)

I'm sorry about your bad news today, but I'm praying hard for good news on Friday!

I love those drinks at Starbucks! One of my favorites! I might have to get me one this weekend! You do have great friends! I'm not jealous though b/c so do I and you're one of them!!
P.S. I went through every month in your archives yesterday (I was bored and knew your blog would entertain me) and I noticed that we used to go to Cracker Barrel a lot for breakfast! I think after the holidays we need to do that to celebrate your birthday. Sound like a plan?

My New Year's resolution is to learn how to sew. Mom's going to teach me. Guess we'll be learning at the same time! Why I didn't take the time to learn when I was growing up, I'll never know!

Starbucks and Panera and good friends all in the same day makes for a very, very good day indeed!

Believe me, if I can learn to sew, you can too!

Enjoy your Thursday.

I have the most problem with my bobbin. One of my friends mom's laughed at me once for saying I was going to buy 20 bobbins and thread them with every color thread I would ever need and leave it on the forever.

Still praying.
