Fall Accessories

Let's talk a few Fall accessories.

It still feels like the surface of the sun here in Arkansas but I see in my near future a few days of high 70's and with school in swing - I'm over summer and ready for fall.

So my mind is on fall accessories.  And fall clothes but that is a subject for another day.

So I'm about 4 years late to the Booty trend but well I'm old and not all that stylish.  I have been wanting some booties but just haven't taken the leap.  Well, a week or so ago, I got a new Stitch Fix box.  I'm so glad they started including shoes because they sent me a pair of Tom's booties that I've had my eye on but never took the plunge.  I decided to keep them.  And I really like them.....

However....

I wore them to Little Rock this week and they KILLED my feet.  Does anyone else have this problem with booties? I think it's just me.  I have literally probably the worst pair of feet around.  They are like 80 year old man feet.  I need to have foot surgery but it would lay me up for weeks or a month and that's not feasible right now.  So maybe in 10 years.....

But I will probably still wear these some because they are so cute.

Beauty hurts.

AND I'm so excited because I wear boots pretty much every day in the fall/winter and all of my boots are WORN OUT.  I have wanted a pair of Frye boots forever but I just can't pay $400.  BUT I found a pair on eBay brand new and got them for $70!  I haven't been on eBay in forever but one day I decided to just look and lucked out!

And I have to tell you about a new collection that Jen Hatmaker just released TODAY with Glory Haus.  It's full of very Jen-ish stuff - leather cuffs, feather earrings, tees  Super cute and Fair Trade! And it's made by women who are homeless or have been homeless and gives them employment.

You will have to check them out!

And here's the part where I SHOULD talk about scarves but if you know me you know I am NOT a scarf person.  I have tried for like the last 10 years.  I'm like the 1% of women who doesn't wear a scarf.

What fall accessories are you looking forward to wearing/buying?
