Snow Days

Did you have a good valentines weekend?

We have had a very laid back few days!

I made this collage of the last six years of Valentines with the sweetest things I know.  I can't believe how much they have grown so quickly.

Friday night our church had a Parents Night Out (GOD BLESS THEM) so Scott and I had a date night.  We decided we mostly wanted to go to a movie because I don't forsee a lot of movie dates for us after the next couple of months.  So we ate a quick dinner and went to the movie.  (No we didn't see 50 shades.  I feel like someone will ask me that. )

The rest of our weekend has been spent mostly at home.  My OBU roommate sent me this cheerleading uniform her girls had out grown.  Hollis was so proud of it.  She wore it all day long and asked if she could wear it every day.  And I love seeing her in it.  We can save this picture for when she's a freshman (Class of 2029).  :-)   Sunday we went to church but they cancelled night church because we had weather coming so I ran to the grocery store and stocked up and we just spent the rest of the day at home.

It snowed over night.  This was our first snow of the year (and probably the only one).  Everything shuts down in Arkansas if there is as much as two inches so school was out today (and tomorrow) and Scott worked from home.  I didn't buy the girls any kind of snow clothes this year because it never snowed.  So we had to pack on what we could.  I found some gloves in the garage after I took this picture for them to wear.  Of course, you spend 20 minutes getting ready and they played outside for about 7 minutes.  I enjoyed a slow day at home and tried to get a few things done. I also spent a lot of time just laying down and resting.  I don't have a lot of energy these days.  I have a list of about 35 things I need to get done before Will Holden comes and the days are closing in on me.  But I'm honestly not too worried.  If we have diapers and a pack and play in our room, we are pretty much set.   Everything else will work out.

Looks like we will have another quiet day at home tomorrow.
