Overflowing with Hope

We have had a big weekend around here.

Friday Harper and I visited her school for next year and got her registered for Kindergarten!!! She was sooooo excited! She wanted to come back "every day".  I can fulfill that promise in a few months! She is going to have so much fun next year.  She loved seeing the music room and art room and computer rooms.  Everyone was so nice and I know it's going to be so much fun.

I had to fight myself from falling to a heap in the floor and sobbing.

Then Friday night I left with a group of friends to travel to Little Rock for a women's conference.

We stopped for Mexican food first.  Because of course.

We had a really great conference.  It was just a one day conference.  The speakers were amazing and there were a lot of breakout sessions.  I led three on "Sharing your faith through Blogging".

I was able to meet a friend Tara.  Tara has been "talking" to me for years through my blog.  So great to finally meet!

Some of the amazing women in charge of the conference.

My friends Ginger and Jessica.  They both make me laugh so hard.

We heard from a missionary who had just gone through Breast Cancer and a Women's ministry leader from Texas who has a son in prison. They both shared about trusting God through storms and shared this verse over and over:

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may OVERFLOW with HOPE   Romans 15:13

These were most of the ladies from our church who attended.  There were a few who didn't get in our picture.  It was so fun to just get away with friends.  We came home last night.  We stopped to eat and then made it home.

And now we have light much longer in the day!!! Here is to hoping spring is almost here!
