Growing Up TOO fast

First - it was fun doing Q&A with ya'll on the last post. I'm still answering a few of the questions - I'll try to get time tonight to finish!

Harper and I have had a nice day. She took a good morning nap (which NEVER happens anymore) and she woke up happy. I was so glad because we were going to eat lunch with friends at Mimi's - the site of the HORRIBLE dinner last week. And to make matters worse we got there and there was a 30-40 minute wait. With 3 toddlers and a baby! Yikes! I took stickers and books and Harper actually did pretty good. Thank goodness.

Sisters Jennifer and Jill and Brody
Julee held Grayson most of lunch - she made a natural! I can't wait for her to be a mom one day!!! She will make a great one!

Harper is in a stage where she wants to kiss everything - especially Dawson. So she kissed Brody right away. And then he came at her bending over with an open mouth kiss. WHOA! Wait a minute Brody! ha! They are so cute. It's funny to watch them kiss right now but we have to nip that in the bud in the next year. Harper can't kiss again until she is at least 30 and married.

After lunch - Harper and I went to Dillards to buy a wedding gift and I did a little stroll through the LITTLE girls section and I was gasping for air. I haven't thought a lot past the day when Harper will quit wearing smocked dresses. I figure I can have her in those until she is at least 5 or 6 but I looked up and saw these dresses in SIZE SIX!
NO!
AND NO!

I really wouldn't want Harper sporting those dresses when she is 16 much less 6. I'm really depressed over what she is going to wear from about 6 to 12. I do not want her to look like a mini teenager. I know there are some cute options - I guess I'll need to start researching so we don't end up with awful teeny bopper outfits in the first grade. Do you moms of girls have the same problems???
