Sweet Cheeks

Our day today pretty much consisted of driving across the state, hauling our stuff in, feeding Harper, giving her a bath, putting her to bed, giving Dawson a bath, me going to Wal-Mart and re-filling our food supply and now I'm sitting down to do a few things before bed. Not a lot to talk about.
BUT I had to share these pictures I took this morning before we left:

I realize I am SUPER partial
But I think
these are the cutest little cheeks (and nose and eyes and smile)
I have EVER seen in my life! :-) Maybe it's the little personality that goes along with them.

I am so crazy about her.

I have a project I'm furiously working on that I wanted to get done by Christmas and didn't and now I have a short deadline and then I have to get Christmas down but I'm going to TRY and have the "Show Us Your Life" Schedule for 2010 up sometime this week so your wheels can be churning and then I'm also going to share about some changes I'm going to be making to my blog. I've decided to do things a little differently in 2010 so I want to share that also!

Hope you have a GREAT night! We are supposed to get snow again this week and my fingers are crossed and my Chili ingredients are bought and waiting!!!

Hi I guess you can say iam a lurker! and now that I see I am the second to comment I had to. Love your blog and all that you do. I just HAVE to know where you got that little xmas outfit, the one used for your xmas cards? It has a red top with white fur trim (like a santa suit) with presents on it and a real bow. And the pants are green with red poka dots. I would love it for my daughter next year. Oh please do tell!

Nothing cuter than a cute baby in a winter hat! I always think my daughter's eyes look extra blue when I photograph her in a hat - even the bear hat in my header :)

I call the first few days after a holiday detox sine so many things go out the window and we have to go cold turkey to get back on track.

Kelly quick question about the Show Us Your Life for 2010. Do you think you could do a repeat of some of them from last year for those of us that didn't get to participate (specifically the home room tours). I missed out on all those cause I hadn't found your blog but I'd love to have a chance to participate and I'm sure there'd be lots more people willing to do the same! Thanks!

Your Mom is so pretty, Kelly, you look like her. And yes, those are the 4th cutest cheeks, etc. that I've ever seen (after my 3 nieces)!!! :) I'm hoping for snow here in Dallas, too! We'll see! Thanks for sharing pics of Harper! Happy New Year! :)

That jacket is too cute. Is 24 too old to wear something like that? :)

Kristine McKowen said...

Cutie patootie hat! (except I think it might be on backwards - looks like the seam is in the front - my 15 year old son was having the same issue with his hat that is this type)

Happy New Year!

So glad that y'all had a Merry Christmas! I just read back to "catch up" on your blog and wanted to share some "bow experience" with you. London, who is (almost) 15 months started rejecting her bow band with the big owl bow too around the same time that she began to have enough hair to clip back into a small bow. The first few times I would just put the bow in, she would pull it out. I would put it back in and say "NO London. We are going to leave our pretty bow in." I did this EVERY time she took it out. And I made her wear a bow everyday while she learned to keep it in. It only took a few days, and she NEVER takes her bow out, unless its mid-temperfit. You can also pull it back with the small, tangle free, clear rubber bands that you get at WalMart and slide the bow through that. This makes it harder for her to pull the bow out (and you will be suprised at how little hair she has to have to be able to use them) and helps the bow to stay in place better. :) Whew. Didn't mean to leave a novel on your page! haha! I know from my neice though, that if you wait to she is older, it is harder to "train" her to wear the bow. :) (And thats a big part of the fun of a girl, right!?)
