First of all - I was SO happy today because Harper had a great day in the nursery!! You have no idea how hard I have prayed today and it was so nice to go check on her twice and neither time was she crying or screaming. I'm so thankful for her sweet nursery workers who love on her! My parents were here today and got to go to church with us and see her in the nursery! And we went to lunch and she was so happy and did so good. OH it was just a great day!

My dad got home from India last night and we were so glad to have him home safe and sound. Tomorrow is his birthday and today is Grandparents day so we were glad to spend time with them! Harper is so blessed to have four wonderful grandparents in her life!
We were playing with her in her room and she started pulling up on me!!! She is just changing and growing so quickly these days!

I told ya'll yesterday about my "faith" dress and then I found out something SO amazing about it and I just have to share because I want to show you how God is at work even when you don't know it and feel like your prayers are not being answered.
But first I feel like I should share that YES - I love having a girl but I used to DREAM of having three boys. I would have been over the moon if we had had a boy. I don't want anyone to think I would have been unhappy with a boy. I dreamed of a boy playing football and I still secretly wish for a boy if we have another child. There is nothing sweeter than a little boy. It's just that I just always had this feeling I would have a daughter. I can't explain it but I just knew.
Anyway..........I think this is unbelievable. When I shared the story of the dress yesterday - the lady who I bought it from off of etsy left me a comment and then she e-mailed me to share something with me and it just gave me chills and made me cry. She has been reading my blog since Harper was born but had no idea she had one time made a dress for her until she saw it yesterday. And she remembered it because when she made it - she felt like God asked her to pray over the dress and to pray for the little girl who would be wearing it. She had no idea that at the the time there WAS no little girl yet or that the little girl would really need prayers at one point. See how God goes ahead and works in such amazing ways???

HE LOVES US - OH HOW HE LOVES US!

And finally - look who is starting to crawl!!!! When did she get so big???

So this is my 1000th post!!! WOW - that is a whole lot of rambling from me. So in honor of my 1000th post - I was wondering if you read my blog - I would love to hear from ALL of you - even the lurkers who have never commented - and I would love to hear one thing you are thankful for today! It would be great to start off this week with a LONG list of uplifting praises and I would love to hear from EVERYONE who is reading!!! Ya'll hear from me every day - now I'd like to hear from you!!!!

Wow, 1000 posts…that is fantastic! If I had to say one thing I am thankful for today it would be you. I have been reading your blog since just before you announced you were pregnant. I have been struggling with infertility for almost 3 years now. I recently moved very far away from my family and on days that I am feeling my most alone and sad, you always say something in your blog that day to make me remember to put all my troubles in God’s hands. Thank you for reminding me that HE is so much greater than all my troubles and that everything will be okay.

Shaina from Kentucky -- I've been reading ever since, I believe it was Mckmama, who lead us to this site to pray for Harper right after she was born. I've so enjoyed watching her grow!!

When I first started reading, and praying, it was very difficult for me, as my husband and I had just suffered a miscarriage in Nov/Dec, and were praying for another baby... but it was so hard for me to read your blog for some reason! But, I read, and I prayed... and lo and behold, Harper got better, and in February, we found ourselves with another positive pregnancy test!

I'm now 33 weeks pregnant with a darling daughter, and I couldn't be happier. I, too, felt like I would have a girl... and from when I first got pregnant I KNEW it was a girl (and so did everyone else, frighteningly enough). I was petrified it was a boy (not that I wouldn't love a boy, but everyone was just so sure I was carrying a girl!!) but at our 18 week AND 20 week ultrasounds, it was definitely a little lady!

I am so eternally grateful, and so very, very thankful to be giving birth in a short amount of time. I honestly cannot wait, but I'm so thankful to be pregnant, and I know I'll miss it! I have loved (almost! It's hard to love morning sickness) every moment of this pregnancy!!

Grateful to God for 4 little ones (6 and under). I'm grateful for the never-ending noises, piles of laundry, messes, dirty glass, sticky fingers, drooly chins and sleepless nights. Grateful for my salvation and his mercies that are new every morning.

HI Kelly,
I read your blog daily and think you have a beautiful family. I found your blog through my friend and former Roommate in college Adrienne. You have met her, she lives in NWA and was at one point on your prayer blog as one of those struggling to become pregnant. She and her husband now have a gorgeous baby boy. I live in New York with my husband who is a Lieutenant with the NYPD. I am a southern girl transplanted in NY. People up here think I am crazy when SEC football starts up, because I YELL at the tv when my hogs are playing! I really enjoy your blog, and hope you continue to do well with it.

Just to name a few . . .

I am thankful that you did Show Us Your Life. I am now helping with the baby showers at our church (which are innumerable at this point -- we've hit 9 pregnant at once a couple times over the last 3 years and our church only runs about 200). I'm loving looking through all the ideas your readers posted.

Also, I'm starting a "Mom's Night Out" at our church to mainly focus on mom's of small children. We'll meet quarterly and have 'guest speakers' (mom's of older children) to help encourage us on how to survive the sleepless nights, mounds of laundry and terrible twos! I'm thankful the Lord burdened me to start this as it will be a great time of refreshing, fellowship & encouragement. (I'm 33 and have 3 kids -- girls almost 5 & 8, boy 2)

I'm not sure how I even originally found your blog but it is one I keep reading because I love the show us tours..., Harper is just so cute....,and mainly that you remind me that I am not the only one going through something hard and that there are so many others out there going through such harder trials. I didn't have any problem having my 3 beautiful, healthy daughters, no one in my family is dealing with an illness, or death.
So, thank you for helping me to pray for others and get my mind off of my own circumstances and reminding me that God is at work even when I don't see it.

I am a long time lurker as well! My first baby girl was born the day after Harper and we had so many similarities with our labor. Mine was long - 30 plus hours and I started getting a fever so they took her by c-section. I never got fully dialated though. Perry weighed 9 lbs 5 oz so she was big like Harper! She was also "sunny side up" so it was a blessing they took her by c-sec. I enjoy reading your blog and watching Harper's milestones b/c they are the same age and it's so fun having another baby and mom to relate to. I just stopped nursing and I have been fortunate enough to stay home with Perry for almost 8 months. We just moved back to LR from Atlanta, I grew up in Hot Springs and went to Fayetteville. Today I am thankful for my new job that I am starting tomorrow. It will be a good financial move for our family and I am extremely thankful that my mom and sister are going to keep Perry for me! And last but not least, Harper is just beautiful! If you ever want to see Perry, my blog is kathyandtaylorcondrey.blogspot.com

I started reading your blog in June when I saw other posts from Show Us Your Life.
I feel connected to you because I am a born again Christian raised in the Baptist church. My sister lived in Fayetteville when attending her undergrad and post grad work at UofA. She shares all her Hog spirit with our family! She taught us to Call the Hogs!!

I am thankful for my beautiful baby boy that is so healthy. I am also thankful that God gave my husband and me the ability to conceive so easily. ...only took a month. I am blessed because I read your prayer blog and pray for everyone that is trying so hard.

I don't usually comment much because I know you get so many comments anyway! I just do my daily check in.

May the Lord continue to bless you for your beautiful written blog that is a testament of your faith.

I have been reading your blog since before you were pregnant and I honestly don't even know how I stumbled upon it. When you had Harper my husband and I prayed for you so hard - it was the first time that I have prayed so much for somebody I didn't know.

Today I am 27 weeks pregnant with our first child and have been on bedrest for 4 weeks. He could come any day and I am SO THANKFUL for every day that he stays inside and develops. Bedrest is the most difficult thing I have ever dealt with but knowing that God has big plans for this child keeps me here in bed every single day.

I have commented on your blog a handful of times, but I read daily.

I came across your blog through a friend before Little Miss Harper was even born. Yous was the first blog that I read that belonged to someone I didn't actually know in real life.

I remember the first time I asked others to pray for your sweet family. It was a group setting. As I began to share the story, there were some that looked at me, smiling and nodding. They too, had been praying for you. Others were confused as to how we could become so attached to someone we had never heard of. I still can't totally answer that, but the fact is, it's still true.

I love following along with you and your family. Know that though you have a happy and healthy little one, all three of you are lifted up in prayer quite often.

Blessings and prayers,
Lindsey
