Saturday

It has been a COLD dreary Saturday today but I managed to be pretty productive. (Considering I started Christmas shopping yesterday and finished today! yikes)

I got up and got ready this morning and went to Wal-Mart where I proceeded to spend TWO hours and spend more money than I ever have at one time. But I got Christmas gifts, food for Christmas dinner, food to make meals to freeze and for another family, and all the other necessities we needed. I had to walk slow around the store and it was very crowded so it just took me forever.

I got this cute bag in the mail yesterday (along with some other goodies) from two bloggers, Taylor and Joyce (mother and daughter) who I actually met at my friend Hillary's wedding. I love it - I'm going to pack all of Harper's stuff for the hospital in it tomorrow!!!
While I was out shopping, I went to one of my favorite stores in town and my neighbor works there. She surprised me with a gift while I was there. She said she meant to bring it over but just hadn't so since I showed up - she just gave it to me there! I love those soft minky blankets and I love that it's monogrammed!
After I finished shopping - I stopped by the hospital to visit one of my friends whose little boy is there with RSV and pneumonia. When I walked in - I ran into an old friend and I asked him what he was doing. Apparently he helps film the show "17 and counting" about the Duggar family for TLC. He was there because the Duggars had their 18th child this week and he was filming them going home. It will be on the episode Monday night. I Soooooooooooooooooooooooo wanted to hang around and try to get in the background and catch my 10 minutes of fame but I was just too embarrassed. But my friend Kacy called me later because she had gone to visit our friend probably 20 minutes after me (not knowing I had been there) and she ran into the whole family and the film crew coming off the elevator! Such fun!
(oh and if you are wondering - I didn't take this picture - got it off the internet. ha!)

I was excited because my friend Rebekah who has moved to Waco, TX called today and was going to be in town and wanted to come by and see me. She is due in March and they aren't finding out what they are having. I can't wait to find out what it is!

She brought me this beautiful blanket for Harper. It's so soft inside - I Love it!

I just can't believe Christmas is in 5 days. It has just slipped up on me. Are ya'll ready????

I've already gotten my Christmas blessing - just found out we now have TWELVE pregnant girls in 6 weeks on the prayer blog! TWELVE! God is good!

That would have been TOO funny if you were part of the Duggar family show!

You got some cute goodies today!

You'd better pack your bag asap--that 2 hour Wal-Mart trip might send you into labor!!! :)

Oh, and NO, I'm not quite ready for Christmas! I made a phone call in desperation today to set up a babysitter for one morning early next week so that Lane & I could go finish up very last minute shopping for the kids. I just need to shop for them, Jeryn, Luke & Katie, then I'm done...plenty of time, right!?

How on earth did you do all your Christmas shopping in ONE DAY???!! You are superwoman!

I can't believe the Duggars have 18 children now. Oh my goodness, that is a handful!! But God has just gifted her to handle it. She does a great job! (And her husband, too!)

Have a great weekend, Kelly!

You are one sassy power-shopper...getting all of that done in one day! And at 9 months preggers to top it all off! Impressive.

I'm loving all of these answered prayers!! It gives me such hope, everytime I read that God has granted another miracle.

Great Post! I love the pink and chocolate brown blanket. why would someone need 18 children?? kinda weird, people think Im nuts because we want 6! The Praise list is growing so fast, it is exciting. at this rate we will all be preggers and there will be no one left to pray for. God is so good!
Have a great Sunday and get some rest after yesterdays shoppong!

Wow! That's great that 12 girls are pregnant!! I went to Wal-Mart yesterday too...it was so crowded and I spent way too much money to. Thank goodness I got everything I needed for Christmas dinner, groceries, a gift for a b-day party, etc.

Have a great week!

Oh good, I'm so glad you got the stuff so quick!

I completely understand the 2 hour trip to Wal-Mart, I spent about that yesterday and am not pregnant!!! Just wait till that baby girl gets here. Just a tip....make sure and take someone with you the first couple of Wal-Mart trips with a baby!

I was at Walmart saturday morning too! Did most of my grocery shopping and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I wanted to get it done before the cold front moved in.

What a Cuuuute bag! How fun to have seen all the excitement with TLC! I love those blankets, too. I don't know how they get them THAT soft! I also adore anything by Caden Lane. They make the sweetest baby things!

You are going to be the most stylish mom in the maternity wing!
I can't believe that there are 12 now on the praise list. I know that God is good and hopefully I will get to add my name too!
Good for you on your power shopping, that is good for someone that isn't 9 months pregnant. I have one more day - postoffice and 1 or 2 more stores.
Merry Christmas!

Kelly, I read your blog everyday, and I have been meaning to ask you to add someone to your prayer list. I have some friends who have been trying for a baby for a couple of years now. They have gone to many doctors and none of them seem to have any answers for them. They are such great people and would be the BEST parents. Please add Steele and Charity to your list. THank You so much!!!
