Rainy Days

It's raining and in the 40's here (Yuck!) and just pretty gross outside but I have a few things to brighten my day today.

I came home today to a big box on my porch from this sweet lady Kaye. She is the step-mother of Mary Katherine who is a good friend of my lifelong friend Jamie. She has sent me several sweet e-mails and she makes these amazing signs. She made this for me and I think it is SO neat. She made this sign for Angie Smith and their family after Audrey died.

She makes all kind of neat signs - you can check out her site here. It would make awesome Christmas presents. Thank you so much Kaye!!!!!

(She is also doing a giveaway here - you need to go sign up!!!!)

Tomorrow night I'm helping with a baby shower for a sweet baby girl that is due next month. Her nursery is in the same colors as mine only hot pink instead of light pink. I've been working on a few decorations. I'm making these wraps that Jamie made for a shower recently.

And I just got an e-mail saying my baby bedding has shipped!!! YEE HAW!!! I can't wait to see how it turned out!

Oops - I'm late for choir - I gotta scoot!!!!

Can't wait to see your baby bedding. Where did you order it from?

I love the sign...such a small world. I ordered one of these last week for my husband after we found out we were having a boy that has our names on it for Christmas and Kaye told me at that time that she had sent you something. She asked me if I read your blog, so we had a sweet conversation about you. Such a small world and such a sweet sweet lady! I can not wait to get the one I ordered in...not sure if I can keep it a secret till Christmas.

Thanks for sharing your great news yesterday. You and Harper were in my prayers.

Looking forward to seeing your bedding and your completed nursery. I know it will be perfect and beautiful.

How funny! My baby girl is Kinley, too! It's one of those things where you NEVER see the name until after you've named yours! =)

I love, love, love the plaque!

Boy, that front has hit you a lot sooner than us. I'll have to break a sweater out for tomorrow!

That sign is so nice!!!

Let me know what you think about the chicken wraps--hope you like them! I bought the stuff to make more of them yesterday--I'm going to try creamy caesar dressing instead this time...

I am new to your site, over from Shannon. I love this sign and checked out the lady's website as well. I agree this would be a great christmas gift, but didn't see this exact one (with the last name & scripture). I didn't see a place on her website to order custom pieces, so I was just curious of the size of this piece, etc. Thanks for any information and you have a great blog!

I am a new blog-stalker. My husband and I have been married 6 years and have been trying to get pregnant for the last 30 months or so. There has been a LOT that has happened in the midst and I see God working in it all...but I know that you know that it is hard! We just did an IUI (our first this go around-after fibroid removal surgery...but 7th IUI all together) and we are playing the waiting game now!
My email is kstephens@christian-works.org and I would love to hear from you. I went to Harding in Searcy, AR for 2 1/2 years (grew up in Louisiana) and now live in Texas.
Praying blessings on your pregnancy,
KK
