28 weeks

28 weeks
Harper weighs about the same as a cantaloupe
(Dawson made a special appearance back in my weekly pictures because he really was interested in the cantaloupe)

I went to the doctor today for my monthly appointment. Everything was good except for one small little issue that I'll hear back on tomorrow. Please pray that everything is fine and that little Harper will continue to bake in me until at least 38 weeks or so. I have so much anxiety about her coming too early or something going wrong.

We have a huge game coming up this weekend - the hogs will be taking on their former coach, Houston Nutt, and the Ole Miss rebels. If we can win just one game this year - this is the one we want to win. It will be a rocking crowd this weekend and I can't wait. In honor of that - I had to share this outfit that Meredith got me. Could you just DIE - it is so cute???? I can't wait to put Harper in this. Luckily - she should be able to wear this for a while because of the way it's made and she will get her wear out of it. A girl that lives in Scott's hometown, Bekah, made this for Meredith. You'll have to click on her website to see all the cute things she makes.
I've been reading on everyone's blogs about their trips to the pumpkin patch and I can hardly wait until next year when I have a good excuse to visit a patch with my little pumpkin in this dress! I'm afraid I'm going to wear ya'll out with pictures next year! :-)

Hi Kelly,
I wish my dress I am wearing is as cute as yours. I've been so inspired by the cute dresses you've found for youself and Harper. Do you have links to them? My little one turns 3 next February. It would be cute to have her name on one of her beautiful dresses.

My daughter's name is Avery. I love those super unique names like Harper and Avery. I agree with you, I hope our creativity in names doesn't become clique like Ashlee, Skylee..

Can you tell I'm from San Diego, California.

Blessings,
Gina

P.S. Have you ever heard of JanNa? I forget her name but she's the best 2-5 year old version of the Wiggles for Jesus. Our favorite song is "Jump Jump Jump into the Light Light Light Light" We love her.

OH MY GOSH, THERE'S MY OUTFIT! :) HEE HEEE! I'M SOO THRILLED YOU LIKE IT AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HARPER IN IT!! This type of outfit all started w/ my husband's great neice. Her mom lives in Chicago and wanted an outfit from me for her 2nd b-day and my MIL (Mammy, as we call her) said, "IT MUST BE A RAZORBACK OUTFIT!" SO i did it similar to this but not this small. she wanted a teen tote too b/c she's a bag lady even at 2! lol.. she's definitely related to this family!! lol... i'm soo thrilled u like this and u look beautiful! i pray i look that good at 28 weeks!! God is good and He has blessed us and the spirit of fear is filling me but my faith in God is greater than that and God prevails over that! Your mom wrote me the sweetest comment about my "We're Pregnant" message. I'm so thankful to know you! we'll have to get together someday when you're in these neck of the woods! love ya girl. thx for posting the pic's! :) love ya

Hopefully it will be soon...but only God knows!

Adorable outfits. You have gotten some really cute one!! Shopping for little girls is so much fun. Just wanted to share that I also had a scare at 28 weeks and I went on to carry my little girl and she was my 3rd baby to 39 weeks and 5 days!! The little stinker almost made me go to 40 weeks and I was sure she would come early being my 3rd. My prayers are with you and I hope you get a good report from the doc.

Hollie said...

kelly, you've got to create a belly cast! You look so cute!
You will love it and it will help you remember your belly long after it's gone. You can also show it to Harper when she gets older and show her where she 'lived for 9 months'!
I purchased my kit at www.proudbody.com but I'm sure there are other sites also.
Just a suggestion for the proud mama to be!
