Fall TV

Gustav brought us a lot of rain and cool temps. It's in the 60's here today. WHAT?
So now I'm really in fall mode. It's cool, I'm listening to ESPN radio soaking up all the football talk and I've been working on my TV viewing schedule.

I'll admit it - I LOVE TV. We DVR everything and watch it when we can but I love having shows to watch - especially ones that Scott and I like to watch together.

Here are the shows I'm most excited about:

1. Biggest Loser (my #1)
2. Amazing Race
3. The Office
4. Gray's Anatomy
5. Private Practice
6. And I'm going to try and watch 90210

Of course I can't wait for January to start back with Lost, the Bachelor, and American Idol.

What show are you most excited about????

Bryan and I both like to watch The Offie. And, I too am going to try the first episode of 90210. I just want to make sure I dont' miss the season premier of either one of these. I need to find out the date and write it on the calendar so I don't plan anything on those nights!!! We still live in the dark ages with TV so we don't have a DVR!!!! I SO MISS AMERICAN IDOL!!!

I've been craving a fresh, fall line-up forever! These were the ones I listed at the end of July...I mean, I've REALLY been craving some fresh stuff! :) Samantha Who?
Grey's Anatomy
Lost
The Office
24 (which I know doesn't start until the spring, but gotta put it on here!)
Dancing with the Stars
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Desperate Housewives (I was intrigued by the season finale)

My list is almost identical to yours, except I don't watch the office...and I do watch "House" on Fox.
I can't wait for Grey's and Private Practice...and I LOVE the biggest loser, too! My hubby and I have watched Amazing Race together since the first season, I think!!! :)

LOVE me some Amazing Race! I think if hubby and I went, we'd kill each other..ha!

I also love Gray's - good stuff!

The Biggest Loser is my favorite show too! Next is Desperate Housewives (I'm a little embarrassed to admit it--it is a little trashy), The Office, Friday Night Lights, and October Road. I heard October Road got canceled though! :-(

3.) Chuck
4.) LOST (although it's not coming back until Jan.)

I love the Office and Grey's but Amazing Race really stresses me out! :) I get so nervous for them so I can't watch that one. I'm so excited about all the shows coming back!

I love those shows, though i don't watch the office! I also like DWTS. I heard the Bachelor this season is Jason, the one that Deanna did not pick! I'm also glad that Private Practice is coming back.. In a few weeks the shows are going to start, and finally after a summer of reruns.. Hope you are having a great Thursday!

I love Amazing Race, Desperate House Wives, Brothers and Sisters, Greys Anatomy, and House.
I want to see what The Office is all about, never watched it. Heard lots of good things about it.
90210 already premiered, Tuesday. But I think they are playing it tonight again. It got mixed reviews, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I didn't expect much more than what the show used to be.

I forgot about The Amazing Race. I love that one...I am off to check to TV schedule to see when it is on so I can make a mental note. Thanks!

SLS said...

First off, your day sounds lovely! Football, ESPN, the weather! =)
I am just happy the reruns will be gone. But I guess my favorite shows are Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, ESPN College Gameday and How I Met Your Mother.

And I so agree with you, knowing what you are having makes it feel much more real! Oh and I have been meaning to ask you about the maternity jeans, where did you get them, are they a particular brand?
Hope you are having a good day! Enjoy that Fall weather!

Last, but certainly not least - The Office. There are a couple of the new shows I want to watch, too. The Mentalist and My Own Worst Enemy.
I wish it was 60 here!

So, did you DVR the premiere of 90210 Tuesday night? I finally got to watch it last night and I think I'm hooked - if for no other reason than Kelly & Brenda! My "must see tv" list is so long but it's on my "tv" blog along with season premiere dates!

DVR is the best thing ever! Especially since I have a two year old and can only watch when she is napping or asleep for the night.

I love your top three - Biggest Loser, the Office and Amazing Race as well as Ugly Betty and the Bachelor when it is on (can not wait for Jason to be the bachelor!!!). Oh, and The Hills is my guilty pleasure but it seems so much more scripted this season than ever before. Oh well!

You are so speaking my language right now. :) Love all those you listed!!!

I used to LOVE LOST! Dh and I would watch faithfully each Thursday or at least Tivo it and then zoom through the commercials later.:)

About a year ago,we got rid of our cable. I knew it would be so hard at first as I'd always fold all my laundry in front of the TV. Honestly, we just became convicted about some of what we were watching and the time the tv consumed. Most shows did not honor the Lord and I realized I was sort of addicted to it. I realize this decision isn't for everyone but it's amazing how much more we sit and talk now and read, etc. Sorry, didn't mean for this to become an anti-tv comment.;) lol! I do still miss LOST though!

Kelly,
Since you are such a fan, I wanted to share something very cool with you. This season, a precious woman on staff at our church and her daughter were selected for the show. Her name is Renae and her daughter is Michelle and they have an amazing story. You will definitely want to be pulling for them.

In May, Jillian from the BL came to our church and told her live on stage! It was so exciting to see her reaction. About two weeks ago she came back home, and she looks amazing. She shared with me that this was the hardest and most wonderful thing she has ever done. She gives all the glory to God and she was able to share her own story of redmption and love with so mant because of it.

So, thought I'd give you some inside scoop on who your favorite team will be this fall! (By the way, she said as hard as they make it look on TV, it was actually 100 times harder!) I'll definitely be watching this season.
