Happy Birthday

Today (July 8th) is a very big day - it's my mom's 60th birthday today!

She had me at 25 and I'm having her first grandbaby at 35.

She was the best mother. My brother and I had the simplest, sweetest childhood because my mom and dad worked hard to make it very special. My mom stayed home with us and sacrificed so much to give us everything we needed. She is the best example of a Christian woman I've ever met. She spends all of her time thinking of others and doing for others. She gets up early every Sunday morning so she can go the nursing home and play the piano for the residents. I love that she does that. She loves serving her church and her family. I'm very thankful for the example she has given me. I hope I can be half the mother that she was to me.

Go visit her today and tell her Happy Birthday! It would thrill her to get lots and lots of comments! (I think she probably enjoys blogging more than anyone I know!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

I'm sorry if you left me a comment earlier - I originally wrote this post last night to post today and I realized it made it look like mom's b-day was yesterday so I re-posted so it would be today.
(Confused? I am)

I went to your mom's website to leave her a message and saw the sweet pictures of your grandparents who are having their anniversary today! I have to say that I think you favor your grandmother on that side!! :) (Just from what I can tell in the pictures!)

Well said, Kelly. Your mom is such a special person... and we love her dearly. I always think how blessed you and Chris are to have your Dad and Mom as parents!

You already sound like your mom on the phone... you'll do just fine following in her footsteps as a great mother!

How sweet that your mom goes to play piano at a nursing home every Sunday morning! Thanks for your comment, when I saw your pic I thought I looked bigger than you at a week behind you! You look so very cute! This is the sacrifice we asked for! (those pics dont quite show how big it feels to look down on it!)

Happy Birthday to your mom!! I just love your blog and come from time to time. I had a very hard time having a child too and after 8 1/2 years had my son and I was 35 years old too!! So many fun times to come for you and your hubby. I just love the demo with the lime. You look great :o)

Your mom looks fabulous!!!!! What sweet words you wrote for her.

I had thought I left a comment on your earlier post with the lime but I guess I didn't. YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!! So pretty!! You should take pictures throughout and pose with whatever object the baby is the size of. Pregnancy is just amazing! I love being able to watch friends experience it!

p.s. Love the pants! I need those!! :) Really!!!

What a beautiful picture of two of the sweetest people I know. What an example your mom is to all of us striving to be a Christian example to our children. Happy B-Day, Judy!

By the way, I DO watch Army Wives, and I also cry my eyes out on every episode! We should watch it together and watch each other cry! Then, we would crack up laughing! Ha!

Happy birthday to your mom! I love following her blog! Sorry I haven't been commenting much lately, it's so hard to keep up in the hospital, but I've been reading and we are praying for that sweet little baby of yours EVERY day! :)

Happy Birthday to your mom! What a coincidence! I was finally blessed to give my mom her first grandchild when I was 36. And the best part was my baby came the day before my mom's 60th birthday. What a b-day present!
